December 7 was the September 11 of our parents' and grandparents' generation. Over 3000 died and it sparked America's entry into war.

Coincidentally, both involved aircraft. Planes kill people...what we need is plane control!! But leave our guns alone...they are how we fix problems.

I realize the trip can be expensive but if you ever have a chance to visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial in Hawaii I highly recommend it. There is a wall in the back of the Memorial that has all of the names of those that died that day listed. I became overcome with emotion as I read all those names. I imagine it is similar to seeing the Vietnam Memorial Wall but on a smaller scale.
