Apparently it is a fight between the coaches of SGHS and GHS! It is a political fight on both teams!

Chuckey does. He don't know what the heck he is doing. But I do give him credit for trying. It's a lot for a person to dedicate their time to the children today!!

The problem is this guy is not getting the players ready for the next year and I am not talking about only the girls. He is making a name for himself by riding the girls back. The girls are good without him. Trust me it is not because of him. He has a routine in prac. god forbid if he was to lose his piece of paper to tell him what to do next. This guy sold cars before he came to Nola. does this tell you how much coaching he has done. What a joke

So he is a terrible coach because he sold cars? It takes a great leader to make a team.

A great leader should be vocal. The guy never says a word. The boys could win some games if he knew how to call a timeout in a game and adjust the game plan. The girls could win without a coach, so don't give him credit for that. They should have went undefeated last year but because of his great coaching they didn't.

Nolachuckey and Ottway girls has the worst coaches from what I've saw. The best is probably Baileyton's boys coach and Debusk girls coach.

South G's coach has no idea what he has on his bench. Just look at what he didn't do with Upton UNTIL THIS YEAR!! Girls that want scholarships will not be able to depend on this guy. He is a l-man band. Mae has been all he has thought about since grade school and that's not fair or right for the other players. South G has always had good coaches. Wallin, Renner and Ricker started and carried on an old tradition. It stopped after Ricker because the coaches are to darn immature and slow or lazy, whatever you want to call it, to get off their butts and PLAY BALL!! Ricker didn't play favorites. He got out and tried to bring good players in from all over. Now some may think that was wrong but the ultimate decision was up to the parents to bring their girls to South G to play - not Rickers. At LEAST he loved the game enough to get out there and fight for good players. Our family misses the Wallins, Renners and Rickers who truly loved the game of basketball.

What difference does it make what area we are from. Does that mean we know a good coach when we see one and the Nola. coach is not one. For the ones (parents) that are just happy that their child is on the team and everyone should play just to be playing then this is your man. But for the ones who want more for their child this guy will not advance the children none at all. So my opinion is this guy needs to go back and coach rec. ball. or where ever he came from. Oh yeah he sold cars.

John Wooden wasn't coaching 11 - 13 year old kids either. Silence isn't the way you teach kids the game.
