Well, tanning beds help fair skin ppl set a base so when they go out in the summer time they don't have to lather on the spf then burn to a crisp naturally. Its also relaxing, helping the body release seratonin & helps with body acne. Also helps with vitamin d deficiencies to an extent. Its all about bein responsible about it.
For the record though, my dad continues to battle melanoma & has never once done indoor tanning.

They also help people get cancer. You're better off wearing more sunscreen

I just don't understand why anyone would want to slow cook themselves... Why can't you just be happy with the way you look naturally... Are you really willing to risk getting skin cancer just so you can be a few shades darker...
Because they can't wait to look old. Lol can't wait til their skin wrinkles on its own. Gonna turn it up a notch.

I usually start tanning in March and stop when I start swimming in May. And I don't indoor tan everyday when I do go.

I have a tanning bed. I've had two over a period of 18 years. I don't have signs of cancer yet. Bet I'm the darkest classy blonde in Greeneville. The reason most people "don't want one", they can't afford the bed or the electric bill.--Ican.

It causes wrinkles for the future, more so than one who doesn't bask in the tanning bed or lay out in the sun as much. Eventually the skin starts looking like leather.
