I also agree that James should do time if he was manufacturing meth- I do not think anyone is disputing that fact.
Then quit making excuses for him and shut your big mouth.

Your intellect knows no bounds as is apparent in your stellar command of the English language.
Where have I made excuses for him?

Oh, and interesting that an idiot who thinks Charles Manson is on death row isnt worth the time or effort to engage in conversation with... I would say making an ignorant statement like that is far worse than a mistype- But hey, that's just me =)

The parents of the dirtbags that lived with the 85 year old man should be ashamed.. they are letting scumbags like that live with him and now, he's losing his home? I would guess that it is probably a history of multi-generational low-life drug abuse from the entire family..

-The "parent" (Debbie was a single Mom) was not a drug abuser when I knew her (then again, neither was James and evidently that has changed)probably should have thrown him out a long time ago. Interesting, isnt it- I have noticed that parents of adult children who let them live at home, not work or go to school are surprised at what the outcome ends up being- Seems to be a fundamental societal problem.

If my kids were 18, not in school nor working they could go sleep on the streets (assuming they were not trying their hardest to find some work or get a grant for schooling or something)because I do not want to have adult kids (who I support) who walk all over me and think the World "owes" them something.

Debbie did her best and worked hard back when I knew her- But at some point she should have shown james the door for not wanting to do anything with his life other than lay around and let others support him. Now she is paying for it - it would seem.

-Also quite scary that I am seeing more and more of this- Two to three generations of adults living in the same house with only a few working or trying to do...Anything. This is a fundamental reason for many of the ills we are facing today- Parents afraid to use "tough" love or defending their kids when their kids do wrong.

Fox news (I hate Fox news BTW...) ran an amazing article about the narcissism of the younger generation but the overall "theme" hits the nail on the head. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2013/01/08/are... - This problem is magnifying itself with each generation and as each generation becomes parents earlier and earlier this is becoming a major problem for us all.

-So yeah, in a round about way this IS debbies fault. Not for the "meth" necessarily- But for allowing an adult child to gop through life and do nothing- yet continue to support this behavior.

I am 37 years old and am astounded by how much things are changing in the small amount of life I have seen- I will reiterate though... When I knew the Kings, James was a good guy, Debbie worked her butt off and they were NOT into drugs. Something evidently happened along the way.

First off, since you enjoyed correcting my mistype- its YOU'RE (not your)

But I digress... I never claimed to be "so smart" but I do okay, thanks.

Who I am friends with (or not) has nothing to do with intellect (or not) as I judge folks based on what I have personally seen and how they have treated me. The Kings were good to me when I knew them, never stole from me (and could have) were not "druggies" (not that I use someones personal business as a barometer for friendship)

But if you would like to make this about ME (it isn't)I am a staunch Libertarian who believes in personal responsibility and consequences of ones actions. I actually am more concerned about alcohol than I am most drugs.

I also smoke Cannabis LEGALLY and am a member of NORML who has a fantastic Job, takes no handouts (although my parents have helped me occasionally when I was in school)and regardless of who I have called my "friends" they have not "dragged me down" as I am fairly successful (I am happy and content anyhow, and have money for my Bills and a bit extra)have a great family and one child who is an honor roll student and already has a full scholarship (at 16)- My other Son is very creative but not so scholastically inclined.

My "dope addict" friends can always stop using but a fool can never stop being foolish.

My "Lifesaver eating carcass"?- That is pretty creative. I like it.=)

When did I ever say I liked Peppermint lane? The on ly picture I have seen from peppermint lane is the junky house with Trash in the yard- Thanks but I will pass.

I LOVE my city and living downtown and tried living in the Country and it was not for me. I enjoy Nightlife and based on what I am seeing- There isn't much to do on Pepperment lane if you do not enjoy meth...That said, I am SURE I would enjoy meth as there HAS to be a reason these people throw their lives away over it- Therefore I will avoid throwing my own life away , make smart choices and continue to do as I am doing and live where I am and as I am.

-You are quite amusing though. Pretty sure you're trolling as opposed to actually have a conversation.

Could you expand upon what you mean by "guard doggin this post"- I may have to use this phrase myself sometime and would like a more accurate definition as to what the Hell it exactly means.=)

"King was taken to the hospital on Jan. 5 for issues unrelated to the alleged meth lab operating in the house, authorities said".

The elderly man must of been really sick to be in the hospital for 5 or 6 days. If he is innocent, the others need to step up and take responsibly to clear him.
Way to go
