Sometimes you can draw a check and work too. You can earn so much before it effects your disabilty.

Look around at some of the "helpers" these carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc have. Most of them are "disabled" and getting paid in cash.

you can draw and work. depends on how much you draw. then you can work so much a month without it messing with the check. i work in human resources. call the state and ask them. they will tell you the same.

First OFF disability is WHAT you paid in when you was working!!!! dumbass.. so your just getting money back you Saved UP... it yours. you paid it IN working your ass off for yrs.... it dont come from tax payers.. or government....and you can work up to 15 to 20 hrs a week in a job you can handle....before you attack something you know nothing about.. go READ a little.

Incorrect. When someone gets disability, it is more than what they have paid in as an individual overall, for the most part. I suggest you take your own advice.

NO its NOT.... you get what you paid in and your employer paid, for working you.... NOT from any taxpayers or government funds....

you make $600 a week $100 of that goes toward disability, then your employer matches... DO THE MATH...$200 a week x 4.3. equals.$860 month x 12 equals $10,320 x 30 yrs. of working your butt off..
=$309,600 which is YOURS.. you cant draw whole thing so you get anywhere from $641 to $848 a month.most people pass before they get all the money back, it goes back into the that system.

IT adds UP....most people make less so they paid in less but still adds up to enough to draw aleast over $600 a month.. r

YOU have to have paid in for aleast 10yrs to be able to Draw,a check on disablility. then once you drawn what you paid in for the 10yrs you dont get a check anymore... so it NOT deadbeats they are just getting their money BACK......!!!! you need to read up on it .man before you attack it.

Well, first off, you have the writing of a 3rd grader, which makes you hard to follow. To the point, yes, the system is being drained by those who should not be eligible for such benefits. And you are wrong in saying that you can only take out what you put into the system. The system is broken due to leeches. We need to cut the heads off the leeches.

Deadbeat is one word, and is defined as a person who avoids paying his/her debts. Mr. Eater in Bloodlinef, or Shett, if I may be less formal, is a valued member of this forum. Please show him the respect which he has earned.

I think you are thinking about Social Security. You don't have to pay in to be able to draw disability. And if you have a medical condition like siezures etc you can draw a disability check and work but you can only make up to a certain amount. If you make 1 penny over that you check will be cut. And no I do not draw disability, I have been employeed by the state.
