The Smell of Jet Fuel
Barry Obama Is a Failure

The smell of jet fuel is the single biggest motivator in Washington, DC. When the politicians get a whiff of jet fuel, they actually start working. When Barry and especially Michelle catch a whiff, they get things done.
You see, the smell of jet fuel means the jet engines are revving; time for another prolonged vacation; time to go home and take that 3 week Christmas vacation; time to shut down things in DC again; time to put the struggles of the American people behind them and live it up.
Maybe its time we shut down the jet engines and get things done in a responsible manner.

Or better-yet, get rid of the tea bagging Republican obstructionists who won't recognize the fact that their man lost the election. They are still wanting the wealthy to pay less than the middle class. Those guys will let nothing get done unless they get their tax breaks for the wealthy.

We can see now that those tax breaks which have been in place for years have not helped the economy and helped cause the Bush depression (along with his war in search of WMD.

Barry needs to get off his high horse; he received 50.9% of the popular vote(hardly a mandate). He actually received less votes this election than when he ran against McCain.Barry preached a balanced approach. Ok, higher taxes on the 2%. Where are the cuts to programs? Where's the balance approach he preaches? We'll see if Barry can actually stop the spending, stop increasing deficit. He's proposing a new stimulous plan now (with more borrowed money).Practice what you preach Barry, cut the spending.

I did not realize that the Republican candidate won the election till I read the last post.

Republican obstructionists will agree to nothing till the wealthiest are protected from paying a tax rate equal to the middle class rate.

You Republican war hawks would I guess would agee to another war in serch of WMD on borrowed money like we did under Bush. How many trillions of dollars of borrowed money have we spent on the war in Iraq to date?

Instead of raising taxes to pay as we went for the wars, we financed the war with borrowed money. Now Republicans want to keep tax cuts on all instead of paying for the war they supported at the time.

LOL, a typical response. Obama's legacy may be the president who presided over the largest deficit at the end of his term. The inept groupies he has surrounding him don't help.

It's time for Boehner to break the chains and get away from the Corporate Pimps who own the GOP party. Even Republicans think Taxing billionaires is a MUST DO. Tax cuts haven't created jobs in the US, in other countries where they lock workers in sweatshops maybe but not here. Look at Google, they hid $10 billion in offshore bank accounts to avoid paying Uncle Sam taxes the rest of us have to pay. Rich "Job Creators" like the ones at Hostess tripled executive salaries while laying off workers, then robbed workers pension plans to pay bonuses. All these legal loop holes need to be closed. Do I feel sorry for "Job Killers", "Job Outsources", "Traitors" having to pay more taxes? H3ll NO.

The people who reelected Obama want the top percentile who control 95% of the nations wealth to pay that money back to the country they've been robbing for over 10 years. If the GOP hold the US hostage again, the next elections will finish off what remains of the lunatic obstructionists still in office.

People are sick to death of the GOP screaming about cutting entitlements when people paid into those programs yet they want to cut Grandma's SS check or her Medicare benefits. What needs to be ripped out by the root is the wasteful spending by corporate prostitutes who funnel tax payer money into their friends companies. Here's just one example of the wasteful spending. Not all our tax dollars are going toward Johnny's boots and bullets or even into his disability benefits where they belong. They go toward useless crap like this.

*In 2004, the Pentagon paid out more than $352,000 to George Golf Design to refurbish its two courses (known as "the Raptor" and "the Eagle")

In 2004 alone, according to the Pentagon's own documents, the DoD paid $6,860 to Golf Car Company,$6,900 to Golf Cars of Riverside,$9,322 to Golf Cars of Louisiana,$16,741 to Southern Golf Cars, and a whopping $37,964 to Golf Car Specialties. Similarly, in 2006, two golf cart concerns were paid a combined $58,644 by the DoD, while a German golf-equipment supplier, Continental Golf Associates, received more than $88,000 from the Pentagon.

That year, according to DoD documents, the U.S. Army paid $71,614 to the Arizona Golf Resort -- located in sunny Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A Saudi homage to the American Southwest that claims to offer the "only residential western expatriate golf resort in Riyadh with activities for all ages," the resort actually boasts an entire entertainment complex, complete with a water-slide-enhanced megapool, gym, bowling alley, horse stables, roller hockey rink, arcade, amphitheater, restaurant, and even a cappuccino bar -- not to mention the golf course and a driving range.

I wouldn't brand a small business owner who might employ 5 people who happens to make $250k a year a billionaire who is robbing this country. The GOP does not want to change SS for those 55 and over. Blah, blah, blah....You've been brainwashed with Democratic talking points.

Republican Obstructionists won't even allow equal tax rates for all to be even put on the tale for discussion. They lost but have the unmitigated gall to expect the winning side to give in to their selfish demands at the discussion table.

If the tax breaks for the wealthy had created jobs as promised, we would be running in tall clover today. The last thing we need is tax breaks for the rich.

Tax cuts for the wealthy have a proven record of not helping the masses. Study your history lesson and read about the great robber barons of the late 1800's and early 1900's if you think they will.

Ah, were there food stamps, disablility, welfare, SS, medicare, Medicade, etc etc etc in the 1800's? No, ya mean people survived and fended for themselves? Imagine that! You don't know what is on the table during the budget negotiations. Every news agency in the country would like to have your information - please share your inside source. There will be a tax increase, but as Barry promised, this has to be balanced. So expect to see some nice big cuts to your favorite entitlements. Do not mortgage our children's future with more debt. Cut spending NOW! Will see if Barry lies when he says there will be a balanced approach. In the meantime, Barry is packing his bags for his 3 week vacation in Hawaii starting 12/17.

You didn't study your history lesson in school did you? Those who don't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. Republicans must hate the masses if they want a return to the policies of the robber baron era.

The Bush tax cuts were a failure and the fool tea baggers want to double down on the failure. It's time for the do nothing House members to do their job or resign. I include our U. S.Representative in that group who haven't done their job.

Where was your call for spending cuts when we were financing the Bush/Cheney war in Iraq on borrowed money from our children's future? You may be one of the many who got rich from the war.

And where were you when your Democrap heroes in the senate voted with Bush to forge ahead with the invasions? Seems to me Ron Paul was one of a handful along with Dennis Kesinich (sp) to oppose the action. The Demos hands are just as dirty as far as the war in Afghanistan and Iraq go. Check the voting records.

Now Barry wants the power to raise our debt limit without Congressional approval. That's like giving a pillhead your credit card and saying " here ya go, get whatever ya need".

Typical Republican response take no credit for your mistakes--blame the other side.

If you will study your history lesson, you will find that two of the biggest spikes in the history of the national debt happened under Reagan and W. Bush. Both deficit spikes happened while your party and president sang the tune for tax breaks for the wealthy with the debt to be paid by our children. Yet you Repubs today revere Regan and make excuses for the Bush failures.
