I'm interested to know where a person can find a good healthy meal around here.

Yes, the Iron Skillet is. My mom lives close to it,and goes out there and gets takeout since she's by herself. I've never eaten it, but she likes it. The Farmers Daughter(on Erwin Hwy or Hwy 107) used to be good, but the past few times we went there at Easter and after church it wasnt that good. Everytime you go, they are always out of alot of stuff. Ma and Pa's on the Asheville Hwy (right across the power dam on Hwy 70 South)is pretty decent. We aint got alot of Mom and Pop restaurants anymore.

I love Thai food and was surprised to find Greeneville even had a Thai restaurant. Anyone eaten there or heard anything about it? Chang Thai.(-:

Chang Thai is pretty good. There's a place in Morristown called Thai Garden that's good. The one here doesn't do a lot of business for some reason, I guess because its not an all you can eat buffet with subpar food...

I've been there about a dozen times. It has always been very good & clean. I enjoyed it & so did my guests. I think their location is the reason for the lack of business.

"The Y Myself"? Isn't that the Scientology restaurant that just opened up? I tried it but everytime I asked how the food is I got some philosophical question back. And how many pictures of L Ron Hubbard can one place have on its walls? No thanks not for me.

If you've never had Thai food and your only experience with Chinese food is the buffet type places you have to try it... You'll never step foot in a Chinese buffet again...

I wish we had a Brazilian Bbq place close... I've been to one in Washington DC a few times and its amazing... There is one in Knoxville next to PF Changs(which I also love) but have heard mixed reviews on it...
