I'm glad to see the commissioners voted to get a $138,000 new roof on the jail. Wouldn't want a thieving, pill head, child molesting, murderers to get wet. Oh and I'm glad their not just fixing the leaking part, but the whole roof.

You know I need a new roof on my house, reckon I could get a little money from them? I'm not a thief or anything, but I could use a new roof.

What do you expect when some of our elected officials think 12.5% of 2 million is 25,000 and they refuse to support the constitution of the US and TN.

Ok, you bunch of crying sob's. You know they are employees that have to work in that environment also. Not to mention paperwork, computers and so on. I do agree inmates don't need it good. But it's better to fix roof than repair The whole building and contents right?

Why can't. GREENE COUNTY take their share of the2.5 million dollar? Share of that drug bust money that was confiscated and use that to the good and use that to put the jail roof on. Let Drug Money do something good!!!!

It was to show support for the right of individuals to keep and bear arms as stated in The US and TN constitution. Greeneville Sun printed the resolution last Wed.

It means that you shouldn't expect logical comments from the majority of people who are on Topix. It doesn't always make sense.

It has to do with our elected officials and the reasoning they use in voting . Weather is a roof or gun rights.
