The new pick up system at mosheim is a joke. It is nothing but a huge mess way in line for 30 mins or more and when u get to the front u still can't get your child and go. I waited in the line Friday for 30 mins drove to the front and still had to wait because no one had ask who I was picking up. There were kids who's parents were four or five cars behind me who's kids came out before mine. There was 6 people from the school out there and none of them had a clue what they were doing. I don't know why they changed it from the way it was because the way we were picking up our kids the last 4 or 5 years was good this is a mess. That whole school is going down the drain. I can't wait for the parent letting this week because I know there is going to be some ticked of parents there and will demand they change it. Every parent of a child should go to the school board over this crap.

I have heard people are unhappy about the direction of Mosheim.

On a positive note, I hear things are much better at CDMS.

I don't know about Mosheim now days. When I was a student they just turned us loose to find our own car. My son just started CDMS. If you're in the first set of cars they will come out and write down the name of your child/children. when announcements start they line up on the side walk and send them down the line, however... The first two days of school he hasn't came down the line like some of the other kids. There is a woman that lets the cars go. If you don't have your child they will make you pull over in a parking space and bring them out. I think they should MAKE sure that all the kids line up before they send them down. When he went to chuckey it was the same thing. I'm guessing the reason the kids don't come out is because they won't keep the other kids quite so kids can hear their name or not getting the kids up to the pick up area before they start sending others out.

Here's a thought... Let your kid ride the bus! Mine does. Who has time to go and just sit on your a&@ for an hour to pick your kid up. Do something productive!

Because some of us aren't to lazy to sit around the house watching soaps and eating bon bons. We worry about our kid welfare and safety, between dumba$$ bus drivers driving wrecklessly or not paying attention and running kids over. I'd rather drive my kid to and from school. But with the way this is set up a word with cluster in it comes to mind.

I thought the same thing. If you don't like it, apply for a job there and see if you can change it. Or better yet take your kid somewhere else. Ever thought maybe your kid was one of those snot nose little brats that runs around like crazy saying "neener neener boo boo!" and won't get in line like they're told? If you think you can do better rounding up over 1100 kids then get you a yellow vest and stop sign and go show em how it's done.

. Here's a thought I bet the most productive thing u do all day is get out of bed and walk to the couch and sit there till u go back to bed. They should have left thing alone like they have been for years where we were able to walk up to the front of the school and get our kids there was never a problem before so why change it.

Did you see how bad it was at Mosheim last year?? The parents didnt understand there was a speed zone. Several times I walked my granddaughter in to Pre-K and had to jump back out of the way for some crazy speeding mother in a hurry to drop off her child. Maybe this way it will cut down the race track there in the parking lot. I think they need to start handing out tickets!!

Couldn't agree more! I'm not sure what was worse... The speeding cars or the amount of parents hanging at the door while pick-up were being escorted out. Super dangerous! Anyone had access to our babies! Not to mention the amount of time some of the parents spent hanging out in the school parking lot. I would pull in and see the same group chit chatting on a daily basis.

Yes God forbid those silly parents communicating with each other (enter sarcasm here) agreed on the pick ups being a good thing WHEN and IF they get it right but if your in fear of parents chatting as you so eloquently put it you have mental issues! Wish that ALL I had to worry about out here in the real world! Lol!

If I were a betting person, I'd bet that none of you work that pick your kids up. As for being bullied, your child had better get used to it if you're going to be that over-protective. As for the ones chit-chatting, it's close to the same group that hangs out at the hand-out place down the street.

Do you not realize the generalizations you just made?
1.) Bus drivers are maniacs.
2.) Kids raised by daycare become disrespectful idiots.

How exactly does a five year old "hold her own"?

good thing you are not a betting person, you'd lose. as a parent we do everything in our power to protect our children (unlike people like you who don't give two f**ks about your kids) block head is a good name for you, or should i say cockhead. so what you are implying is just because we choose to pick our children up from makes us unemployed and on welfare? let me guess you also voted for obama? twice.

Great day in the morning. Americans have become a bunch of cry babies. Let the kiddies walk to school like our parents did then just maybe you all would have something to complain about. Better say a prayer for all your blessings!! Some people can't even have children too ever send to school.

Personally I think Mosheim is headed in the right direction. I saw the principal walk kids in that were crying in the morning, and she was standing in the rain this afternoon. I didn't see either of the assistant principals helping her. She seems like she really is trying.

It just appears that the whole generation is making their kids soft. What exactly have I said that would make you think that I voted for the current administration? All my views are totally opposite of that, don't you think?

Funny how block head shuts up all the sudden...... this is so immature and unbelievable!! And for the record ms block head I just happen to be one of the mommy's that stands and talks to my friends in the morning. I am not on welfare. I do not go to Mosheim outreach. I am a other of 4. 2 by birth and 2 adopted. And I'm raising my own kids not the government. And guess what human afford to stand out there and talk because I'm a business owner and while I'm just standing there talking I'm making more than you ever thought about.(Smiles) so when you grow up come find me. Mosheim park in the mornings and you can take notes. Until then shut the hell up and mind your own!!!
