I know that the health dept gives medical services based on income but is there any local dentist offices that are based on income? Please hold any negative comments to yourself. Yes, I have a job and no it doesn't offer insurance and no I'm not on any kind of drug I am just looking to get back into a dental routine and I may have a cavity or two.

There is one in Johnson City that's based on your income. I think it's at ETSU. Students supervised by a real dentist. Nothing in Greeneville sadly to say but we sure need it here for those of us that work and have no insurance.

Put some JB Weld on a q-tip and wipe it on your tooth.

JB has a new formulation called JB Kwik that cures completely in 15 minutes or less, so you don't have to sit there with your mouth open for 24 hours waiting for it to dry like with the original JB Weld formula.
My friend is a mechanic and when somebody brings in a car with a broken engine or malfunctioning brake component, he puts JB Kwik on it instead of replacing the part. Car is done in less than an hour. It always works.

I am pretty sure there is a dentist at the health department a few days out of the month. Try calling there first. If I am incorrect, perhaps they could refer you a local dentist who would be willing to charge on a sliding fee scale.
