Join us in honoring a long time friend of ours as we dance and sing the night away. We will be at the Mountainview Bar on Cedar Creek Rd this Saturday night at 9pm.

Alan was a good man who loved people coming to hang out with him at his humble establishment. We are forever endebted to him, for when the Outlaws were just getting rolling and didn't have a gig, Alan opened his door and said, "Come Play Some Music". Now even though we are getting ready to add playing arenas to our list of accomplishments, we are proud to come and play once more.

The cover ain't much, but the good times are many!
See ya in the sticks!

This band was good at one time! But the base player left and now the quitar player so they are going down hill fast. The drummer has problem keeping time the new base player is an ass and thinks he is the bomb. As for the guitar player and singer there just aint nothing to say but they stink! So I wouldnt waste my money or time!

No we got the point but it should be a better band honoring such a great man. Hillbilly outlaws are no longer the hillbilly outlaws not the ones Allan opened his doors to. And they shouldnt go in trying to say they are.

HILARIOUS!

I knew Topix would eventually rear its ugly head at us. And that is great. No publicity is bad publicity. Or at least that's what I've heard.

I'll be honest. I didn't know Alan for years and years. I don't know how many kids he has. But the first time I played there with the band, I took the time to introduce myself and was greeted by a warm, jolly, good ol' boy who loved music just as I do. He was very kind to me, just as he was with the original lineup. But you know, I can see how my initial post could envoke some anger. You are right in saying this ISN'T the same band that Alan opened the doors to. It is a band that has evolved since the word go.

I was told when I joined the band that the goal was to BETTER the band. And every move we make we try to be better. Better looking (though that's pretty hard to do!), better songs, better gear, better players (as it has turned out).

Now, as far as us wishing we were RCA Recording Artists (although I think it was meant sarcastically)? That's just plumb silly. Would it be nice? In ways. But I, for one, am against it. I just want to make a living doing what I do best, and that is the goal of everyone of us in the band.

But you see, I hate change (especially if it's not for the better). I have OCD, and change doesn't sit well with me. So, I am a bit shaken by the recent line-up change. We didn't want Darrell to leave, but he did. We offerred our assistance to him to help him through his situations. He refused. In the end, I get to be the bad guy, though. That's ok, too.

Am I an ass? Ask around and most likely hear "Yes". I agree, too. I don't mean to be, but I can get a little edgy. But what gets me in trouble the most is that I don't know when NOT to voice truth and offer my opinions. So, your comment is warranted. But as for the comments against Troy. That is rude. Is Troy the best thing going? NONE of us are, honey. We are a work in progress. Do we suck? The people we play for every weekend don't think so. Don? Sheesh, are you kidding. One of the best I've ever seen in the area! It's funny how you can say that about him, when unless you were at A PRIVATE PARTY IN JONESBORO last weekend, you haven't even seen him, let alone heard him play.(you gotta keep in mind we know who is behind this mess!)

The line-up we have right now is quite a good one. The chemistry is right. We get along. We have fun. We entertain.

FACT: Things change and when they do feelings get hurt. I am sorry. I truly am, but it's life. But, since we can't avoid change, let's see it in action.

I challenge you to take a look at a Hillbilly Outlaws Now-and-Then.
Now this isn't to say "this line-up sux" or "wow, he's so much better than..." but use this as an example.

This link is the Original line-up taken nearly 2 years ago:

This is us back in August:

An Evolution? I think so. And we're getting better all the time.

Doctor Fill,
We invite you to come out tonight on us. Like LOL said. It WILL be better than sitting at the house!

That goes for anyone. If you will come to a show and honestly tell us that you don't like us, I will refund your door money and put gas in your car to get you back to the house. But I may hug you, too!

Now, I gotta go get ready for the party tonight. Hope to see some of you there!

Hey No doubt you should really change that name to NO CLUE!! It is obvious you haven't seen the band in a while. I heard them this weekend for the first time since they changed guitar players, and they rocked the house. I will definitely be seeing them tonight at the Mountain View. The new guitarist not only rocks out, but he also sings, giving this band an awesome 3 part vocal sound!! I do know one thing...they are more than worthy to get a recording contract so shut up and get a life AND a clue NO DOUBT!!!

Hey Kevin, I actually liked your reply. You are right I was just being sarcastic, meant absolutely nothing by it. So I'll give you a big I'm sorry. I used run sounds for a few different bands years ago, but have never heard of you guys. I no longer go to bars, but if you guys play out in an alcohol free environment sometime( nothing against alcohol it's just best for me to stay away from it)post it on here and I'll try to make it by. I wish you guys good luck, I for one know it's tough and a lot of time and hard work.

Hmm, I would like that myself. It is hard for me to be around alcohol since I have quit drinking, but I manage. We are at Colboch Harley-Davidson, Saturday from 2-4. Come help us raise some money for some unfortunate kids who otherwise probably won't have a Christmas.

I don't care what anyone says this band is the best around. I love when they play at the Mountain View. The new guy in the band is wonderful, lots of talent there.
