He insinuates. I read it that he weighed xxx pounds and stood XXX high. You blew it out of proportion from what I read. In the end, what does it really matter? You go on and on about how hard you work and yet post all during the workday. Lots of breaks. Hey, hope you are on your own phone or else your company can track how much time you spend on this garbage.
State and federal law requires employers to grant employees a few minutes every day for THEIR time. It's quite telling that the conservatives would choose a few posts during a scant few minutes during the day to focus on and needle to death. Never they mind the hours upon hours that all the conservatives spend whining about the minutiae of their wasted lives on this very forum daily (and nightly).

Sometimes making money for one's family requires a great deal of time, not that you'd know it from the perpetual posting of conservatives on this forum, but even with a full throttle work ethic, a man must stop every 2 or 3 hours for 10 or 15 minutes for sanity's sake. This seems alien to those who are magically able to spend their entire days typing away on their keyboards as they sit at home living off "the working folk."

As much as the conservatives rail on and on about being "hardworking," they certainly seem to have puh-lenty of time to wile away the day on Topix. Hilarious that they would attack a liberal poster for such limited daytime visits to the musty old room where their presence is so common that their shadows linger for hours after their bodies have exited. They honestly lack any sense of hypocrisy.

You give Linda far too much credit. She is hardly world famous, only well known as a liar and a psychotic bully in her little community of Camden Tennessee. She lives on East View Avenue in Camden and her neighbors all say the same thing about her, "Sociopath".

I will have to admit OA, you have a way with words. This one had me smiling at least. The April Pete is mostly the same person as the August Pete. The only difference is that I have a lot less patience with posters like SSS.

I ask again, why bother posting the "I'm leaving" posts if that is not your intent? Whatever purpose you had in mind, I don't think it worked.

I think they're all on Public Assistance, or somebody is financially supporting them, and they don't have a clue what it's like to work, because they've never done it!
The only "business" they've ever been involved with, is everybody else's business and they have plenty of time to do that, because they've never worked for a REAL paycheck in their lives.
what's really galling, is that our Tax Money probably bought the cellphones and computers that they using to "bite the hand that feeds them"...and the medication that they're obviously using!

No one knows because she has been fired from every job she's had since she blew into Camden Tennessee 30 years ago when her father bought her a house to keep her from living under his roof. Later he transfered the house into her name because he felt her lids needed a place to call he. Reports say that she was one of those "love in" hippies in the 1960's and "got around the block". She moved to Tennessee a single mother of 2 after her husband sought reprieve from the emotional abuse she delivered daily.

From Thornton Wilder's play OUR TOWN
Belligerent Man:
Is there no one in this town aware of social injustice and industrial inequality?
Mr. Webb:
Oh, yes, everybody is-something terrible. Seems like they spend all their time talking about who's rich and who's poor.
Belligerent Man:
Then why don't they do something about it?
Mr. Webb:
Well, I don't Know... I guess we're hunting like everybody else for a way the diligent and sensible can rise to the top and the lazy and quarrelsome can sink to the bottom. But it ain't easy to find. Meanwhile, we do all we can to help those that can't help themselves and those that can we leave alone,- Are there any other questions?

I also want healthcare for all. And I do see your point believe it or not. However, the ACA is not the solution and neither is placing the responsibility for healthcare solely on businesses. Please remember that low unemployment, a high GDP and low inflation are what enables our economy to succeed.
Pete: very good ----

There was a way before ACA was forced upon us. It was trhown out to the wolves. That is insurance based on full capitalism.

Under present laws(most states), each carrier(insurance company)gives rates to each state it operates in. What was wrong with have the insurance companies compete for your business like car insurance. Geico, Progressive, Alstate, StateFarm are a few car insurances that cross state lines. Their rates are based upon each states cost but the bottom line is that their charge to the person is the lowest possible. Why ??? Capitalism

Under present laws, portability of insurance from one work place to another in not allowed. WHY NOT? Cobra steps in when you leave a job and lets you keep your insurance even if you don't have a job. Think about it..... If you have a condition your present insurance is paying for and you leave your job and lose your insurance, there is a high percentage that the next jobs insurance carrier will either make you wait for a year before signing you up or not give you insurance at all. NOW---If you could carry you insurance with you (like car, life insurance or accident insurance, etc.)to another job, preexisting conditions would cease to exist.

30 million people not covered. OK, Probably 10 million of these 30 million are legal citizens but neither-the-less. There are a lot of these 30 million that are young people who decide for one reason or the other, they do not need medical insurance. Fixing this problem is a lot different than making everyone in the USA (350,000,000) get insurance as Obamacare has.

All the above were put forth by republican party and thrown out by the liberals. They want socialism. Is this what you want. OA ----evidently it is.

Sorry Pete,,, just had to add that in.

Not that it's any of your business, I'm quite content to remain the sitting "Director" at the "Department of Total Misinformation"! I dropped the anchor here, buddy boy...and have surpassed all expectations. I've issued more erroneous proclamations than my three predecessors combined! Make no mistake about it, I'm vulgar-wrong about 99% of everything I think or say at least 99% of the time! Come to think of it, this is the only job I've ever held for more than a few hours! I'm told I'm actually suited to be a weather forecaster or an advisor to President Oblabba! Yeah, I'm really proud of this opportunity. If this Community Organizer just had the "right" people he could destroy not only "this" country and the entire middle east, but the rest of the world as we know it...in no time at all!

Haslam has yet another bid rigging charge against his administration. Where there is this much smoke there has to be a fire. Charges keep mounting up. There is a lot of greed in this administration and I hope he is soon gone.

Just make sure that the TEApublicans don't vote in somebody worse...and rest assured , they will if we let them!

I actually think that you have to be the Lowest Quality and Most Ignorant of our Society, to quality as a Member of the TEApublican Party...or maybe, that's just the qualifications required to speak for the TEApublican Party and run for Public Office in that Party?
At least, it appears that way from the Image and lack of knowledge and productivity they exhibit! But, lying is one of their most valued traits, to be a Member. It doesn't even have to be believable, it just has to be the most outrageous!
I think I saw that on a TEApublican Party Recruitment Ad once..."If you have an overactive imagination, can't speak without lying like a Persian Rug, the TEApublican Party WANTS YOU...(low-intelligence, no knowledge of anything concerning Gov't. or the Nation's Economy, Unbridled Greed, Lack of Humanity and Concern for Others, and Hypocrisy, are considered a PLUS)....or words to that effect!
Or, it may have just shortened it and said, "If you were born with no ability to care about anybody or anything , but money...and you'll say or do anything to get it, the TEApublican Party WANTS YOU!"
