Does smoking a cigarette or drinking a beer disqualify someone from being a Christian? Stick to random profanity, Reverend, your arguments are weak.

That foul-mouthed kid understands it's much safer to stick with typing tough words on a keyboard. I always find it amusing to witness posters trying to intimidate other posters with "tough talk." It's meaningless. I usually see it in poster's whose arguments are laughably weak -- they try to compensate for their lack of mental skills with portrayals of total badassery -- something they know they'll ever be in danger of having to prove.

Looking forward to the feigned moral outrage concerning my stomach turning language. That'll be a hoot.

Well, OA, several posters have called you out personally and you have flinched every time. Maybe it's you who is the foul mouthed kid who understands it's much safer to stick with tough words on a keyboard. I believe you found it much safer to be classified as 4F (as a toddler).I think you meant "never" not "ever."

<quoted text>NTM. I believe I have to "chime in" here.
This I believe is the first thing that I agree with you on.
"It is not a fetus. It is a child."
All the fetus knows is that it is very comfortable. Plus it does not know how it got there.......love, sex, rape, to the fetus it does not matter.
But this is just my belief between myself and God, and I don't throw my beliefs on any one else.
Now like Linda was saying in her post, that you replied to, maybe I can sum it up by a single phrase;
The Consevatives only care about the fetus, before the womb and after the tomb, in between they are on their own.
Thanks Dunlapian. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. LOLWe just don't agree on which of us is the broken one.

It has been stated many times on here, but Linda and manyothers refuse to listen to it. Conservatives do not want to eradicate welfare. they want to eradicate the fraud that is so rampant with the social programs that Liberals like to call entitlements. As I have said before, they are not entitlements. Social Security and Medicare are entitlements because we pay for them throughout our working life. You are only entitled to what you pay for, not what others pay for.

The Conservatives I know and most that I hear have no problem with helping someone get on their feet or even helping those who cannot help themselves. What they object to is supporting anyone from cradle to grave with no effort to support themselves or no requirements of personal responsibility on their part.

Well, OA, that was pretty stupid. I don't believe the socialists ran a candidate last time and if they did, no one knows his/her name. No socialist has ever received more than .02%(point zero two percent of the vote).

Hey, NT. Great post. I have seen posts from OT (AKA the socialist) saying that he thought that everyone should get welfare, even if they are able to work. In other words we should support the indolence of our worthless, lazy neighbors. I don't think so.

I could not agree more with your last sentence. It takes a lot of chutzpah, in post, after Post, after Post to want to cut everything from Welfare, to Food Stamps, to Medical Care , to Education for the "Babies" and then, to come on here criticizing a Woman that knows she can't provide for a Child, for taking the only option open to her, to keep it from suffering a horrible existence in this world, of deprivation and humiliation from some of the very People who are forcing her to carry that Fetus and give birth to a Child! It's one of the most cruel things known to Mankind, to do to the Mother (a mere Woman) and a innocent Child ,
I had to chime in here. The only option???? There are thousands of couples in this country willing to adopt those babies. Most would even gladly pay for the support of the Birth Mother during the process.

This is not considered an option for you Liberals. Your idea of compassion is to kill that baby rather than give it a chance of being raised in a home with two loving parents, especially if those adoptive parents may raise it to be a Conservative.

I have said for years that I am pro-choice. My opinion rests on when that choice is made. I believe that choice was made before the conception. The choice to engage in the act that produces a child. That is where their personal responsibility begins. In this day of sex education in schools, you cannot argue that they didn't know it was a possibility. I have never opposed abortion in the case of rape, as long as the rape is reported as soon as possible after the event and not only after the results of the pregnancy test.

My biggest objection to the abortion law is the failure to recognize the rights of the Father. If a two people have sex and the female gets pregnant, she should not be able to kill the child of that male if he objects and wants to raise it.

I'll never understand why conservatives consider sex such a horrible, disgusting thing. It is not just an act for creating tax deductions and property for the father, you know.
I don't think a single conservative understands the legal definition of murder.
All of this being said, let me blow your mind by stating that this particular liberal agrees with the 20 week cut off for making the decision to have an abortion.
I consider the taking of any innocent life murder.
