Well...I tried to watch the Benghazi Hearings twice today and fell asleep both times. Slept about an hour each time. So, I'll have to watch another Replay of it, because I want to hear it ALL, every word.
Not long ago, toward the end, one of the Committee Members said that somebody called his Office to ask him , "where was the Smoking Gun"? He said there wasn't even a "Pea Shooter", much less a Smoking Gun.
It's so obvious that the TEApublicans are just taking this opportunity to promote themselves, and to try to promote their Party...it didn't work...either One. Actually, it just made them look like they were just wasting time and they realized it , too...because they started saying over and over that the purpose was , and their duty was to see what they could do, to keep it from happening , again. It was the same answer each time, appropriate the money for a better security system and more Troops...let's see if they do any of it. If they do, they'll have to vote out the Sequester that just cut all of that, even more.
I suspect Issa's tweet was just to try to get the egg off his face, in light of the "no wrongdoing found" conclusion of Today's Hearings.
If it wasn't so tragic, today would actually have been funny. watching the TEApublicans squirming toward the end , was funny!
I hope some of you watched the whole thing or will watch it, especially you TEApublicans. Lol!
Remember, it's your Elected Officials in action...and it was a sad sight, indeed!
I watched most of it last night, and I found it interesting at times. This isn't going to topple the Obama Administration, and I personally couldn't care less WHAT the administration called the attack in the days after it happened. What I want the politicians to get to the bottom of, is how this happened so we can prevent it in the future, AND to see if there was indeed retribution toward the whisleblower Mr Hicks at State. To me getting to the facts regarding these issues are the most important things that can come out the whole excercise.

<quoted text>Exactly right. As I was watching the House hearings live yesterday, I noticed that Fox stayed with the hearings but CNN and MSNBC switched to other less important crap. It's called selective editing and is indicative of the left wing media bias.
The woman who was rescued after being held hostage for 10 years is hardly "less important" than an Obama witch hunt...to most people, anyway. Fox"News" understands the ideological makeup of their viewers and unsurprisingly aired their Republican porn without interruption.

Alabama beat Tennessee and they fired the coach.

Ariel Castro, Cleveland Kidnapper, Is a Registered Democrat

According to voter registration records, Ariel Castro, the Cleveland kidnapper, is a registered Democrat. He was also the alleged leader among the three Castro brothers, who were arrested this week, and the owner of the house at 2207 Seymour Ave., where the three abducted local women had been kept in captivity for over a decade.

Why is this important? Whenever a crime or a scandal captures national attention, the pattern in the mainstream media is to either identify the culprit as a Republican or hold silence -- in which case we can rest assured that the culprit is a Democrat.

When the identity or the party affiliation is yet unknown, the pattern is to speculate publicly about the possibility of the criminal being a conservative, Christian, white, Republican, and a Tea Party member -- and never that he could be a Hispanic Democrat voter playing bass in a meringue band.

In today's divisive climate, the identity of a perpetrator is always a political issue, especially when a crime is committed by men against women. According to the Daily News, "What the neighbors saw was terrifying and dehumanizing: Naked women on dog leashes, crawling in the dirt. A lady clutching an infant and pounding on a window for help."

If any of the brothers were a Republican, this news would have been trumpeted by the mainstream media as tangible proof of the Republican War on Women -- a narrative invented by Democrat strategists and maintained by the media in a successful effort to defeat Republican candidates in the 2012 election cycle.

However, when a real act of war on women is perpetrated by a Democrat voter in the manner that even the most zealous Democrat strategist couldn't have dreamed up in their worst nightmares --

Didn't the Heritage Foundation basically write it in response to Hillarycare?
Yes OA it was a product of that socialist/marxist organization as a free market alternative to Hillarycare and it was picked up and enacted by a Republican socialist /marxist rising star called Mitt Romney in Ma.
I was no fan of this legislation, ESPECIALLY once Obama pulled the rug out from under Democrats by pulling the public option. Still, it is better than nothing, which has become the Republican position since the enactment.

The necessity of a government healthcare system is in my opinion a DIRECT result of the gutting of our manufacturing base and the subsequent flatlineing of American wages and benefits, due to globalization. Few conservatives seem to be able (or willing) to make the simple connection between the two.....

Government run healthcare is a result of 100 years of socialist debauchery. It will not work, there simply isn't enough money to take from those who earn a living.

I've never liked outsourcing.I like American products.I found a section at a Houston Walmart that sold American goods, bought some things, even a broom. The broom shows astonishing tenacity, I've really used the hell out of it.My car, a 2010 Cobalt, perks right along, I do keep it maintained.Americans were always good at making things.

That is exactly what I meant OA, and "Vet" knows very well that is what I meant ! That is an old debating trick and he uses it fairly regularly but, as I posted a few days ago, since neither of us are stupid or foolish, and he and I know it.....there is no real reason for me to restate my points !

Your 2010 Cobalt my have been put together in America but the parts are made in many different foreign countries. If you don't believe me just start looking at the parts on your car, the place where they are made is written on most of them.

I am completely for buying American products whenever it is possible but you have to be careful, there are lots of tricks these large corporations have, for one example I used to sell wood working machinery from Jet, Powermatic, and Delta just to name a few, all these machines are made in Asian countries but they would have a cheap stand made in the U.S. so they could put proudly made in america on the side of the stand, and wouldn't you know it most of the people buying them from me thought the entire thing was made in America. I now make and sell my own line of tools, designed and built with American steel and aluminum in America, my tools will last you the rest of your life unlike that cheap foreign crap. Sorry this was off topic but I just had to respond.

You gotta realize that Linda(AKA SSS ) only saw it in her dreams as she admits she fell asleep both times that she "watched" it.

This fact tells me that Linda had little interest in hearing the truth.

Walmart is the worst corp. for outsourcing. Toys made in china cost them 13 cents and they sell them in the U.S. for over 14 dollars, they deny employees overtime while they work them off the clock and discriminate blatantly against people of color and women, deprive them of healthcare, working them as part time employees while working them full time hours. walmart is the epitome of corporate greed.

Hi there NTMD8R, where can I find a sign for my new admirer? It's to be worn around the neck, visible from both directions of busy highway traffic, and read..."Will work for mental health care"!:-)
