Anyone know?

It was about 40-50% a few years ago when I played. I'm sure it's more than that now.

When will they start testing high school athletes for steroids? And when will they start giving them real random drug tests without advance notice?

40-50%? lol you are an idiot. I'm a former player and when I played there might have been 2 or 3 players, just about the same give or take that any other football team has using the juice. Chances are you did not even play, and you're just trying to start some trouble

Lol, when did you play, the 80s? I'm not trying to start trouble for GHS. I'm proud of my school, but this is a growing problem in all schools and it's time that something is done about it.

No, the last season I played was 2007. Like I said, there were only a few that used it, just like every other school. I do not believe that you played or even went to GHS, if you did why would you start this discussion on topix and not contact the school administration if you are that concerned? Quit tryin to start trouble for a successful football program

Ever watch the movie the program haha exactly last year I personally watched 3 ghs players snort pills at a party and a slew more drunk at the same place.don't overlook the accessibility of any drug or other substances for a minor.and yes some of there players use ..there's always a handful that does

I'd say the overall percentage off all high school athletes that use steriods is very small. Afterall, how many high school students do you know who can afford to even buy steriods?

There are always rumors at every school, but they are usually false. That has always been the case.

The moral of the story is, don't believe everything you hear.

Wow, I somehow managed to spell steroids wrong twice. Maybe it's too late to be posting on topics.

If you're not trying to start trouble for GHS, then why didn't you title your thread "How many football players are on steroids?" Why single GHS out ? Oh - I know, the jealousy thing ! It must be rough to be such a hater.

Curious, you are truly a dumba$$ like a lot of other people around here. I love how everybody loves to throw out the word steroids like everybody is on them. First of all where are they going to get them around here? You can't just walk into CVS and get' em. The crap thats on the internet is fake. Second, its the same ole story, an athletic team does good hey, they must be on steroids. All the county football teams were good this year. I guess they took steroids. I also love the rumors that surround steroids as well. Instant sterility, rage, dick falls off, beat up their mom, instant athletic success and the list goes on. People, get a clue before you start running your mouth about something that you don't know!

I agree that this topic was started just to bash GHS, but those of you who think you can't get steroids around here are either blind or just way out of the loop. They are easily accessible if you know the right people. I started using them in high school, but I regret it now. I now realize it's the pus's way to get big.

This post says it all. This shows me you were never a GHS player, or even a fan. You are just trying to start crap. "More available for them than most county schools." What kind of shit is that? Its just as easy for county players to get them, if needed I can name a few big names that play in the county. I'm above that though, and I'm not going to throw anybody under the bus like you are trying to do right now. Grow up, get over your loss to GHS. If you havent notice btw, the county programs are doing better over the course of their seasons now that GHS is in their conference

How many local kids are that good. Look at professionals, how many kids from Greene County really go on. I would say the percentage is low. Now other drugs I say is a problem. Not just GHS or athletes but students in general. That is a problem that needs to be looked at. Wake up people you would be surprised how many kids are on drugs and I am sure we would all be surprised at where they get then from.

I'm a GHS alum. However I've stopped going to the games. It gets boring watching them just run up and down the field playing inferior teams.

We have started attending other games around the region instead of supporting our home team. It's nice to see some good football being played. We can't see that here any more.
