Yes, you read that correctly.

My wife and I are conservatively-minded Bible-believing Christians, and we are also social nudists. The two are not mutually exclusive, as some would have you to believe.

What we believe is that the human body is inherently good, created by God Himself in His own image, and that it should be honored and respected. We do not believe that being unclothed itself is shameful, only the behavior of some people when they are. Scripture strongly supports this view.

When we visit our friends at their resort we always enjoy the clothing-optional Bible study and church service held there; some people are dressed, others are not, and neither group has an issue with the other. We want to experience that same pleasure closer to home, so we went ahead and started a group of our own.

We have had enough of a positive response that we have set our first meeting for the evening of Tuesday, October 11.

Before I go any further let me be very, very clear as to what we want to do with this study group:

All of our meetings will be distinctly for the purpose of studying Godís Word, and for having fellowship with others, Christians or seekers, nudist or not, in a clothing-optional environment. That is ALL. This will in no way be anything relating to, associated with, permitting, or accepting of any type of open ďadultĒ activity. Those things are blessings given by God for the pleasure of a man and his wife, alone and in private.

What we will be allowing is for people like us, who do not feel the necessity to be covered from head to toe every moment of the day, to gather together from time to time to study Godís Word in a setting that will allow them to dress- or not- as they please, excepting of course any sort of clothing designed to be enticing or provocative. We will not be hosting a lingerie party.

We want Christian discussion and fellowship with others who feel as we do, or at least with those who are comfortable enough to be around people who feel as we do. Nobody will ever be forced to dress any less than how they feel completely comfortable, nor will anybody be forced to believe as we do, for that matter, but what will be required of anybody attending will be the open-mindedness to be around Christians and others who are semi- or completely freed from clothing within the privacy of a group memberís home, to study Godís Word in a lively manner, and to be open and honest with each other.

If a Bible-study of this sort is something that you would be interested in being a part of, or if you wish to know more than I have said here, please respond.

Would pinching off a loaf at the resort be considered in poor taste?

Will we be judged by the type of undergarments we wear? When it is "that time of the month" a time in which God blessed all women, I choose to cloth myself in a piece in the southern region (or things could get messy). My choice of clothing rides up past my navel. It is comfort I desire over the lustful, provocative, full if sin garments. The term "granny panties" might be applicable. I would love to be a part of this beautiful, spiritual group you are organizing.

That's true. It really kills the flow of the thread. If only we could put a plug in those jokes or pull the string on them when they're finished. It's a bloody travesty.

You're fine. Sometimes it's good to let your feelings bleed. When the negative thoughts start to poke out you just tampon them to push them back down.

Your well reasoned, thought provoking posts certainly provide a valuable cervix to the community. The words seem to flow freely from your orifice, and make it simple for others to soak up your vast stream of thought.

There is a lot of good word play and innuendo going on here. I'm no match for your wit...I learned the hard not to joke with a woman on her period, when my wife sent me to the store to get her some tampons and I brought her back an iPad...

And now for my period joke...

From a fable by Jean de Condť, paraphrased from Barbara Tuchmanís, A Distant Mirror.
Queen: Sir, have you fathered any children?
Knight: No my lady, I have not.
Queen: Indeed, you do not have the look of a man who could please his mistress when he held her in his arms, for your beard is little more than the kind of fuzz that ladies have in certain places. I do not doubt your word, for it is easy to judge from the state of the hay whether the pitchfork is any good.
Knight: Lady, answer me without deceit, is there any hair between your legs?
Queen: None at all.
Knight: Indeed I do believe you, for grass does not grow on a well-beaten path.

Let's see if anyone gets why that is a period joke...

I hope people will find an easy to use applicator for my advice. Sometimes life feels like you need to part the Red Sea to make it. I say give it 5-7 days and you've got it licked.

I feel like I am practically swimming in your advice right now. You have certainly unleashed a torrent of thoughts that are seeping into my cortex even as we speak. This conversation really gets my juices flowing. I hope that the moderators don't try to block the flow of useful information that we have fermented here.
