'I'm honored and encouraged to see this many people,' state rep J. Faison. Crowd estimated at nearly 200! The CROWD is 1.33% of the population of Greeneville, 0.028% of Greene County. Great show of support! Religious rightists meet gun nuts meet extreme political rightists at something very similar to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party from Alice in Wonderland!

Said the poor whining "frustrated control freak"...who gets more frustrated when more and more people exert their rights and freedoms...contrary to what you believe they should be able to do...too bad for you.

You SHOULD be concerned. Those groups' rights are going to be 'exerted' at the cost of anyone who has a different vision. THEY think they're right and too bad for any 'non-believers' if THEY get into power. It's called PARANOIA and INTOLERANCE. Democracy for only the right-thinking people.

"Those groups' rights..."

No such thing as "groups rights"...everyone has the same rights.

"THEY think they're right and too bad for any 'non-believers' if THEY get into power."

So, what do you think of the USSC and the cases of Heller and McDonald...?

"It's called PARANOIA and INTOLERANCE."

Paranoia...?...really...? Is it "paranoia" when they really do want to come after your guns...? "Intolerance" of those that do try and control the rights of others.

"Democracy for only the right-thinking people."

Not sure about you, but I don't live in a Democracy...don't want to live in a Democracy...won't support a Democracy.

Paranoia is the delusion that the Federal government, after 200+ years under the Constitution, is going to 'come after your guns.' No POTUS or candidate for POTUS has ever advocated outright seizure of guns in this country. Controls and regulations yes, seizure no. If this country you live in is not a democracy, then what do you feel it is? Heller/McDonald in practical terms are an affirmation of the 2nd amendment--what do you feel it indicates?

This country is not a democracy.

It is a democratic republic.

Learn the difference.

That is because most of us are sitting at home with a weapon, waiting for someone like you to break in.

Calling me names doesn't change anything. The size of the crowd was still pathetic. Come on, spammer.

Do you have difficulty reading the words that I wrote...?...or is it a comprehension issue...?

"If this country you live in is not a democracy, then what do you feel it is?"

It's a Demorcaric Republic where my rights as an individual, or the minority, are protected from infringement by the majority. In the true Democracy, it's majority rule, regardless of the rights of others or the minority.

"Heller/McDonald in practical terms are an affirmation of the 2nd amendment--what do you feel it indicates?"

Yes, it is...as an individual right unconnected with militia service. Now with McDonald, the same restrictions against the Federal Gov't of "shall not be infringed", also applies to the States and local gov'ts under the 14th Amendment.

Under this you also run into the fun part of Federal Government not following the Constitution but yet they want claim it if it gives them control of the states. It is a Communistic action in the first place. But it is what we are seeing right now.
