I donít like Steve Burns and wonít vote for him, but I am not going to vote for a Democrat. Our problem is that we have Republicans who behave like Democrats. Making a change and putting a Democrat in to act like a Democrat is not going to be any better.

I agree with you. Anyone who identifies themselves as a Democrat immediately proves their lack of intelligence.

What this county needs is a Buford Pusser type sheriff instead of the dukes of hazard we have now.

Ann Coulter said and I agree "Any REpublican is better than a Democrat." Sorry, but that's how I feel too although I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy right now about my Republican party.

"Ann Coulter said"...lmao! You're one of the many that shouldn't even be allowed to vote due to extreme ignorance. Too much Kool-Aid.

What a dumbazz. No wonder we have the problems in government that we do, its because of STUPID beliefs like this. Political parties are ruining us.

Voting strictly party lines is what is wrong around here. Most don't have sense enough to vote for the person.

Anyone who is a Democrat in the midst of the insanity from the party will not get my vote. Don't get me wrong, I think both parties are screwed up, but Obama and his clowns only want to talk about more taxes, more spending, more regulation, more government expansion, etc. He ran as being the most transparent administration to hold office, but it has been just the opposite. Further, anyone who thinks ObamaCare is a good idea is a fool.

I would literally vote for a monkey before I would vote for Hankins. He may be a nice guy, but I am 110% sure he is a f'n moron.

PAt should have run against Burns in the Republican primary if he wanted to win. It's going to be tough to win as a democrat. He would have had a chance in a primary.

That would have been like putting lipstick on a pig. No matter how much you smear on, it's still a pig.

If Hitler was a Republican and Jesus was a Democrat who would you vote for? Always for the Republican, no matter what?

. A nonsensical question that does not deserve a response however if you had say a Kennedy running against someone posing as a republican that I loathe. Like John Kerry I would put a write in ne there like satan or Santa Claus. Would not vote for anyone I despised. However did vote for McCain although he is not someone I care about

Im voting Burns because Hankins did absolutely nothing to arrest the pill-billies that robbed us of $10,000 even though we had eye-witnesses of who did it. One of the meth-heads was even in the county jail for another robbery not long after robbing us and "Detective" Hankins didnt even bother to interview him ! I guess he was too busy getting his campaign together. He's not getting my vote for anything !!

You know what, I believe Jesus was a Democrat.
I think it is funny when some try to justify socialism by saying Christ would side with the helping the poor, everyone is equal jibberish. Christ taught that we as individuals should help those in need / less fortunate. I am sure he wouldn't approve of the government stealing the wealth of others and giving it to those less fortunate or more often, those who elect not to work and apply themselves. If I give money to someone who is in need, I look them in the eye and tell them I wish them the best, I love them and want to help them. They feel obligated to improve their position so they don't have to look to me again for a handout. With the government, welfare is like a drug, there is no guilt. People simply try to figure how to get more. Don't think that giving to the government via wealth confiscation (taxes) fulfills your obligation as a Christian to help others. Further, while Obama preached that the rich need to pay their fair share, I gave more to charity than he had in the many years leading up to his re-election, yet I make much less than he does. Hypocritical!

Further, Obama has noted that Alinsky was his role model. It is in his autobiography. Alinsky dedicated his Rules for Radicals to Satan.

Think Jesus would support a group who as a whole support the murder of babies (abortion)? If you think Christ would agree with ripping a living being out of the womb, you need help!

Do you think Christ would agree with a group who is constantly attacking Christians and trying to remove anything that resembles Christianity from our daily lives? At the Democratic National Convention during the last election, the place lit up when after removing God and reference to Jerusalem from the DNC platform it was proposed that the two be reinstated. Watch below:

I could keep going, but don't think Christ would be a Democrat. I also don't think he'd be a Republican. I do think he'd have major issue with the stance of the Democratic Party as a whole. They have made every effort to make the government God. Scary times...
