I think it's useful, but some of the people on that page are absolutely stupid!

It was a great idea early on but I knew the local rifraf would mess it up. In the beginning they had cool high-quality stuff but it has become an online flea market where everyone posts a comment but has zero intentions of buying items. The page is cluttered with baby items, shoes, prom dresses and cheap junk. It should have been a closed group then perhaps the moderators could keep the page attractive.

You should come back to check it out now. The group owners no longer allow baby stuff or clothing. They made separate groups for that stuff. People who dont want to look at used clothing, shoes, and tons of baby and kid stuff dont have to now!

I use to be able to use that site, until the admins didn not like the post and how i was trying to buy something. see i ahve a cell phone thing where i buy phones but not as a business so they removed me then blocked me. I went to the page throught a friends page today and theres a business with a post on there but was approved by an admin, how can you say no business can post but then turn around and pick and chose what small business can post. the admins of the sith or creator/owner as she calls her self are power hungry and are very rude about how they handel people that post stuff they do not like. i have several emails from this person where sh is verry rud with me and where she lies and messages me rud coments the makes it where i can not respond. this site is over rated no matter whats on it because of the main admins attitude. i am not bashing when i can prove everything that has been said, just look through the post carefully and i can foward the emails. im sure some of you know who i am and thats fine, but to the one im refuring to you need to act like and adult, stop being a hipocrite and leave what ever personal problems that make you have an attitude toward others and members from you site or just step down. ive been nice with ever respons ive sent you but once you continue to be a rude....just rude i will tell people how it is and they can check it out for there selves. there is more and more sites for Greene County because of this issue with the main admin. Topix is a place for people to say what they feel so before you email me or try top post something saying im bashing you remember what youve done and where youve read this.

that place pissed me off. I had an item that was brand new, dumbasses wanted to offer me pennies on the dollar and acted like they were doing me a favor by taking it off my hands. Maybe Gville needs a real swap board.

One of your friends must of added you. You can go to the upper right corner and turn notifications off. It's right above search this group box.

I use that group to sell things we don't use. We get much higher prices than we would having a yard sale. At first I didn't like that they make you put your picture in albums, but now that I know how, it seems to work well. The admins there are more strict than some of the other groups in the area, but it is also the best group in the area - they have ALOT of members and its well organized...which means a better chance for me to sell my stuff. They don't allow people to be rude and hateful on the group and will kick them out if they do that stuff. It is also not "clogged up" with yard sale clothes and tons of baby stuff - they have groups just for that! Overall, good experience, and have made quite a bit of money off stuff boxed up in the garage.

go under groups on the sider where your friends are and just unfriend or remove.
