I didn't want change! Especially more of this guy's idea of "change"!
You were happy with the way the Bush administration (either jr or sr) ran this nation? You were happy with war-mongering, money hungry presidents? People had gotten so withered and tired of the way those 2 men handled things, they took a huge leap towards anything that was different. Obama wasn't a good choice, but LOOKED the most promising to most. I am really surprised he still has a pulse, considering this nations bleak outlook on "change". Lincoln/JFK/MLK/MLKjr and the list goes on.

The Obama haters never made a peep while The Shrub was being Cheney's puppet on a stick. In their eyes he wasn't Reagan but he wasn't a Democrat so they kept silent when he staggered through his 2 terms. Bush couldn't form a coherent sentence to save his life yet he was kept in office to prevent a Democrat from becoming president. So your judgment of how Obama is doing, is questionable at best.

*"Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country." —President George W. Bush, Poplar Bluff, Mo., Sept. 6, 2004

*"Let me start off by saying that in 2000 I said,'Vote for me. I'm an agent of change.' In 2004, I said,'I'm not interested in change --I want to continue as president.' Every candidate has got to say 'change.' That's what the American people expect." --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., March 5, 2008

*"They want the federal government controlling Social Security like it's some kind of federal program." --George W. Bush, Nov. 2, 2000

*"Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter." --George W. Bush, in parting words to British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and French President Nicolas Sarkozy at his final G-8 Summit, punching the air and grinning widely as the two leaders looked on in shock, Rusutsu, Japan, July 10, 2008

*"I think it's important to bring somebody from outside the system, the judicial system, somebody that hasn't been on the bench and, therefore, there's not a lot of opinions for people to look at." --George W. Bush, on the nomination of Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court, Washington, D.C., October 4, 2005

"Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job." --George W. Bush, to FEMA director Michael Brown, who resigned 10 days later amid criticism over his job performance, Mobile, Ala., Sept. 2, 2005

*"Do you have blacks, too?" --to Brazilian President Fernando Cardoso, Washington, D.C., Nov. 8, 2001
