I am purchasing a used mobile home that will need the following:(I would prefer someone who is experienced with mobile homes, especially their ac/heating units)

• Inside AC/heating unit looks dismantled (needs checked/repaired if needed)
• Needs old carpet/lino/padding/staples taken out
• Ceilings painted
• All walls painted
• Kitchen & bath cabinets painted
• Small front porch built
• Medium back porch built
• Privacy fence installed (I have the panels in Morristown)
• 2 car parking area needs to be framed out
there's a level area for parking but needs railroad ties or something put in to hold gravel in place and plastic laid, gravel spread
• 3 motion-sensor outdoor lights install; front and back doors and parking area

If you're interested please leave contact information here, let me know if you have experience with remodeling a mobile home and especially ac/heating unit, electric and plumbing experience since I need all of that to be checked out on the home to ensure its in good working order.

I may not know anything about mobile homes or repair but I am not a fool or a push over so please, only decent hardworking people who treat others fairly need apply and be prepared to give me your best quote for the job the first time, I am not going to haggle and play games, there's too many people needing the work.

I am a single mother of two and my own mother who lives with me has cancer so as you can image I cannot afford a bunch of nonsense, I just need this home prepared to move into in a professional, fast and affordable way, Thank you!

Try talking to the guy that owns Oakwood homes. He just recently bought a foreclosure that was my family's and remodeled it... He may be able to help or at least point you in the right direction...? I think it'd be much cheaper on you to have someone who works with mobile homes do it all under one contract... Jmo. Good luck!

When it comes to stuff like this there are three type ow work..good, cheap, and fast...
If its good and cheap, it won't be fast... if its good and fast, it won't be cheap... and if its fast and cheap it won't be good...
As far as not haggling and too many people needing work... the good people name their price and either you pay it or they don't do the work... also the good ones don't need the work, they already have plenty...
The bunch of nonsense you can't afford is good, quality work and experience.
I'm not trying to be a dick, I just honest and naturally am a dick...

Singlegal I can also do a lot of the work that needs to be done, but putting your contact info on here is like biting a bullet. Think of a good way for us to get in contact and we can look at the place for you and see what can be done.

Didn't realize we had to have qualifications to post on your discussion. However, I do feel that if you would take my advice into consideration, you would see that I did attempt to "help" you. Anyone worth a sh!t is going to be busy working, not on Topix trying to see their business. But I do appreciate your gratitude. It tells me that you will be a delight for some poor fool to work for. Have a great day.

I think she means she's in a tight spot, that's what I took from that... However, she was rude and it's uncalled for. I'm sure your work is impeccable, as you are.:-)

Never thought of myelf as POMPOUS. But the ass part I get. I can be a rather large ass. And I have a rather large ass... Guess we learn something new everyday don't we? I learned that being "self-important" isn't suppose to be a good thing and you (hopefully) will learn to spell POMPOUS correctly the next time you try to insult someone. Enjoy your day, really.:-)

Well Peach, you sure called it! I sent this idiot my info and she called. I have never spoken to a ruder person. I think she is just another "gimme gimme gimme" person looking for something for free. She asked if i did anything other than a/c. when i said no she said she said she wanted me to check out the a/c. when i asked, she said she had no electricity there, so i said the power had to be on before i could check it - she just hung up. I thought we had been cut off so I called her. She went on a tirade as to how I had claimed I could do everything she needed at her trailer and I was a liar. I made no such claim as anyone can see by my previous posts! T anyone considering dealing with this shrew - I hope you speak fluent b**ch, and I suggest up-front payment.

ac guy, you said all you could do was ac, nothing else from my list of what I need done and you said you wouldn't be able to assess that ac without the power being on so I said Ok, thank you and I hung up because my mother, who has cancer, and is very sick, had fallen and I was trying to help her up all the while you continually kept calling and calling trying to argue.

if you merely thought we had lost connection, you wouldn't have called back as many times as you did, being as hateful as you were so.... you need to take into consideration that it was nothing personal towards you, I didn't call to chat, you said you couldn't do what I needed so I said thank you, there was nothing left to be said.

No "thank you" occurred and I doubt the rest too.
