What is a good smartphone with StraightTalk? I'm thinking of ditching Verizon & all their overpriced fees.

Have you had good experiences with StraightTalk?

My experience was bad, but it depends on where you're gonna use it. They claim to have the same verizon towers. I was in a car with my mom who had verizon. She had service, I did not..

I paid $180 for my smart phone. I hated it and the service. Sold the phone for 100

Like your name btw!

Well with the NSA dippin & dappin in our biz do we really have any PRIIIIIVVVACCCY?? Lol

Supposedly, regular Verizon people have priority over StraightTalk who are third party contracts. My Verizon has sucked lately.

I love straight talk and have had it for a couple years now. if you buy a cdma phone it will work off of verizons towers. otherwise you'll be using at&t or sprint. I've never had an issue with service

Several of my close friends have dumped Verizon for Straight Talk. All rave about the money they are saving. Nobody has complained about anything.

I've had Straight Talk for a couple years now. Absolutely love it.

Verizon's prices are outrages and it's service is no better than Straight Talk.

$30 a month, 1000 minutes, 1000 text and 30 mb data.
$45 a month, unlimited everything.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Proclaim right now, have had for a little over a year. Its a good phone. I think it was around $150. I'm going to be getting something else soon though. This one runs Android 2.3 and for around the same price there's a couple that have 4.0.

I'm torn tween the Samsung & LG brands. I've really never used anything other than Motorola & Apple IPhone.

I've used both brands in the past. I never had any trouble with either. I would just go to walmart or look online and read the details of each model and choose whatever works best. I'm thinking of switching to an iPhone but I'm not sure if I'll like the OS, besides its a GSM and the coverage is iffy around here.

Yeah I've been looking on line. I have also used Blackberry when they first came out & it was my first smartphone which took some getting used to. Until recently, my Verizon iPhone has worked good. Lately, dead spots which weren't there couple of months ago. I'm just not paying premium price for phones anymore. Economy & all lol

I have had straight talk for two years. I LOVE it. I when to AT&T and it was ridiculous the price I payed every month. I ended up going back to straight talk. I have had a lot of their phones, right now I have the iPhone 5 and let me tell you it worth it for only 49.92 a month!!!!

That's the only thing with straight talk is you have to pay full price for phones. But in the end its definitely worth it, in my opinion.
