Most poor families can afford birth control. They often smoke and buy beer and lottery tickets. You are rewarding irresponsible behavior if you relieve them of supplying their own birth control, while making someone else pay for it. Another stupid, well meaning liberal idea that does nothing to solve the problem.<quoted text>
I'm absolutely not jealous or a loser, if John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, and Al Gore shelter money; shame on them! I'm college educated, work very hard, but have a very happy life. I know a lot of rich people and many of them are not happy at all.
What kind of person would be in favor of keeping loop holes for the rich and cutting financial aid for college students, and then taking birth control from poor families! Unbelievable!

I do not understand how Mitt Romney is costing the country money.....he paid nearly 2 million dollars in taxes last year and does not get any "handouts" from the government. He pays the taxes the IRS charges him......what else should he do? The rich, such as Romney, are paying 70% of all taxes, and while i somewhat agree with your middle class statement..........the middle class are not employers, so without the wealthy employers....we could not afford to buy the products from these grocery store, etc. I do feel the middle class needs more attention.....and Obama is doing everything in his power to destroy middle class......in the near future, if someone doesnt stop this man...there will be 2 groups of americans......the rich..and poverty....there will be no in between.
#70 Feb 6, 2013
That is what he wants, a group of producers whose money he confiscates, and uses to buy the votes of the other group, who are dependent on him, and will vote to keep Democrats in power, because they are unable to care for themselves. Over a couple of generations, the poor have no role models in the home who have ever had a job, thus they are dependent on the largesse of the government for survival. It is a VICIOUS cycle.
#71 Feb 6, 2013
I agree. The people who work for a living are being shut down by people who vote for a living. The illegals and the people who welfare for a living have out numbered the working class, and it shows in the polls.

I'm not sure about ticket prices, but I am aware of two other facts.
First, the Greeneville NFL team will play their first games at the Astros park at Tusculum College until the new stadium is built near Bailton.
Second, they are soon going to have a contest to name the team and or mascot.
Also, I heard that, instead of the new wax museum going into the old Capital theatre, they will construct it in a soon to be built mall-that will also have a larger Macys than the one currently in Greeneville.
#74 Feb 7, 2013
I heard they would be havin a EBT night and you could use your card to get in on those nights and the leadin choice for a mascot was the pill bottle.

In this country the top earners make 70 % of the money and pay 30% of the taxes, this leaves the rest of the country that make only 30% of the income responsible for paying 70% of the taxes.
This is devastating for our economy. Tax cuts for the rich is not something that creates jobs, if so, where are they? This method for creating jobs and helping the economy is absurd and has proven itself to be.
#76 Feb 7, 2013
The rich are not paying 70% of the taxes! That's absurd, you don't understand hoe Mitt Romney is costing the country money! It's not that hard to figure out! You say he paid 2 million in taxes last year right? When you should pay 10 million, that's costing the country money! If the middle class had that money they would have to pay their taxes, the rich don't, they write the tax code! And several people keep saying, h's paying what he's required to by law, really, that's what satisfies you, you think the law should let people get away with this? You are getting the wool pulled over your eyes and they love it! You think Mitt Romney should pay a lower rate than someone that makes $50,000 a year!
What about all the hard working Americans that Romney has put in the unemployment line, took their money, their jobs, and their pensions! Took these taxpayers money and put it in the Cayman Islands where 0 taxes are paid. Who would vote for that. Sick
#77 Feb 7, 2013
I assume that you are a troll, because nobody is that stupid. The election is over. Your idiot got elected again. Enjoy HIS economy for the next 4 years. It will get worse.

Bain capital just (Romney is still an investor and still profits) shut down Sensata and sent those jobs to China, 170 people lost their jobs. They made on average $17 per hour, Mr Outsorcing sent the jobs to China where they were converted to slave labor. Ninety percent of the employees are women, they make .99 cents per hour and work 12 hours per day and get ONE DAY OFF PER MONTH. I guess they had binders of women over there too!
Gee before you know it Republicans will be voting to redefine rape and take birth control from the poor! Oh I forgot that is what they voted for!
Every woman that voted for Romney should be forced to work a week in this plant in China, see what he really thinks of you.
With Sensata closed, less tax money coming in, more unemployment going out.
#79 Feb 7, 2013
I would say the same about you but that is constructive. What facts do you have a problem with? Also I think many are forgetting how bad it was when Obama got elected, we were losing 750,000 jobs a month, short memory.
And thank s to him our car and tire industry were saved!

As a member of the middle class we spend our money to clear the shelves and buy necessities, that creates demand which spurs on the economy and increases jobs. If the middle class gets no help with the tax burden we will have less money and the economy will slow. Someone like Mitt Romney could care less. We also need help educating our youth to help the country. The republicans were prepared to cut into financial aid to help balance the budget to keep the loop holes for the rich and the low tax rate on capital gains, horrifying! The super rich also are feeding everyone this line about how they want smaller government and people are believing them! They want to keep insurance privatized (by the way, privatized means the rich can or do own it or can buy it and charge you whatever they want), they want to privatize the post office, they want to privatize schools, and social security. They don't want smaller government, they know we don't live in a socialistic country, they are trying to scare uneducated people so they can take advantage of them for the almighty dollar. Well people better be scared or the mob will take over cause that's all it is. If the Republicans want a smaller government why are they always making it larger?
(CNN)-“We must stop being the stupid party.”“We must stop looking backward.”“We must stop insulting the intelligence of voters.”
Gov. Bobby Jindal held little back with his sharp words to Republicans Thursday evening, urging his own party to rethink their arguments against Democrats and appeals to voters in his remarks to party members attending the Republican National Committee’s Winter Meeting. 1-24-13
Goodl luck Mr. Jindal, you're gonna need it.

We are not going to have a supreme court that will overturn Roe v Wade.
We are not going to repeal health reform.
Nobody's going to kill Medicare and make old old people in this generation or any other generation fight it out on the open market to try to get themselves health insurance.
We are not going to give a 20% tax cut to millionaires and billionaires and expect programs like food stamps and kid's health insurance to cover the cost of that tax cut.
We are not going to make you clear it with your boss if you want to get birth control under your insurance plan.
We are not going to redefine rape.
We are not going to amend the united states constitution to stop gay people from getting married.
We are not going to double guantonimo
We are not eliminating the department of energy or the department of education or the department of housing.
We are not going to spend 2 trillion dollars on the military that the military does not want.
We are not scaling back on student loans because the countries new plan is that you should borrow money from our parents.
We are not vetoing the dream act, we are not self deporting, we are not letting Detroit go bankrupt.
We are not starting a trade war with China on Inauguration Day in January.
We are not going to have as President a man who once led a mob of friends to run down a scared gay kid to hold him down and forcibly cut his hair off with a pair of scissors while the kid cried and screamed for help and there was no apology not ever.
We are not bringing Dick Cheney back
We are not going to have a foreign policy shop stocked with architects of the Iraq War.
We are not going to do it!
We had the choice to do that if we wanted to do this as a country
And we said No.

Is it me?
I cannot believe anyone would vote for this man, how could you even imagine a worse candidate? It's like someone invented him as a joke. Ok let's get a guy that lies and has changed his mind on everything, oh yeah and his whole life will have been the pursuit of money, he was a bully in high school, he never ran a company that made a profit by making a product he just busted companies up and sent our jobs to other countries, he avoided the military, not a Christian, lived in Mexico cause his great grandfather had 5 wives, has millions in tax shelters in other countries, wants to close planned parenthood, won't release his tax returns, won't sign an act insuring women will get the same pay, and his plan to balance the budget according to many financial experts will put us further in debt, cut back on needed programs and make taxes go up on the middle class. Is it me?
#83 Feb 7, 2013
Can you imagine an America, no Obamacare, no planned parenthood, low income families can't afford birth control pills, all the unwanted children that would be born and many having terrible lives some doing prison time and some having their own children while they're still children and we have to support them all. With Roe v Wade overturned many will try the procedure themselves and die. Many will die from cancer as well because they can't get the screenings offered at planned parenthood. Medicare will cover less and most middle class people will have to pay more taxes and will have less expendable income so they will buy less and the economy will slow down. They will go in debt more and bankruptcies will sky rocket. Less kids will get to go to college because grants will be harder to get and they won't be able to stay on their parents insurance. But the rich will still get their tax cuts and keep their loop holes. China will pull even farther ahead of us in education and technology. Supreme court justices will be chosen that will seal our children's and grandchildren's fate. Imagine this America and pass this on.

The bottom line is you can't make people be responsible, do you want taxes to help pay for a package of birth control pills a month OR ..... Hospital bill for birth, WIC, food stamps, section 8 housing, the child's education, medical bills, their public school, their college, and or prison and then in many cases we'll be paying this all over again when this child has a child of their own. Contraceptives have been subsidized for decades and you want to vote for someone that would try to put a stop to it but then give himself a tax cut on the money he keeps in this country because much of it, he doesn't.
#86 Feb 7, 2013
4 more years of steady improvement, lower unemployment, housing construction is up for the first time in 4 years! Stock market has doubled! GMC making record profits, Osama dead! Go forward!
Lest we forget when Barack took office we were losing 750,000 jobs a month. Thank you Barack Obama, thank you for your hard work, in spite of the people that hate, you're still working hard for this country, and not only did you save the car industry you stopped China from flooding the country with cheap tires saving our tire industry. Thank you sir, you deserve our respect. And still even today Bain Capital is shutting down factories (Sensata) in the US, the latest has moved to China where (the people losing their jobs have sent a formal request to Mitt Romney asking for help - no response - Sensata leaves Freeport Illinois with record profits - after a boost from the automobile loan thanks to Barack Obama) Americans had to train their Chinese replacements, Mitt Romney is personally making a profit from this - he's selling our nation! The human cost, Bain is picking Chinese low income workers over American workers, 90% of the Chinese workers are women making .99 cents per hour, they work 12 hour shifts and get 1 day off a month and Mitt Romney is profiting.
