I have a lovely roaring fire with classical Christmas music playing. Never forget the opportunity might present itself to meet a hot utility worker in the event wind wreaks havoc & you lose electricity or whatever. Stay diligent Future X Wife! Lol lol =D
Hmm, Nita, I hadn't imagined such a scenario! I have certainly seen a few handsome utility workers around here, sporting their hard hats and tool belts with all those useful tools attached!
They are likely in Camp Creek at the moment. I hear this wind is doing damage out that way.

My power has flickered nearly all. Now I'm just waiting for this tree to fall. It's has a huge crack half way up. It's a wonder it hasn't broke yet.

Uh oh! We might wanna go hang out at the market. I will bring some framing & nails to construct a hot chocolate stand down along the road. You bring the marshmallows & stiletto shoes! Lets refrain from posting a sign "Hot Stuff Sold Here" in case any cops happen along. They might either take our money or charge us for solicitation. LOL

I'm in town and my lights have flickered all day as well. I haven't lost power, but they are still flickering.
Flickering...flickering...

Do you think an arrow of red blinking lights pointing in our direction would be bad advertisement?(-8

Knowing the two of you I would say it probably won't be an arrow. It may look like an arrow with rounded corners on the end.

I'm thinking red light bulbs framing the stand....in the spirit of Christmas, of course! Lol I think the blinking red arrow would be a nice touch also.

Plus the wind keeps people away. One night of it some of them move or don't come back!

It would be good for everyone to be without electricity on Christmas! Maybe then, we would all spend more time with each other.
