"whothehellcares" lol lol lol I'm on a roll now from another thread!:) lol

Seriously, she had an AMAZING start in a fabulous career. I think, like most child stars, that she has also hit some rough patches in recent years. I noticed there had been no comments and thought it was odd. Lets face it, even the biggest stars fade from glory. Some of the "biggest & brightest stars" will keep a lifelong fan following but it's rare. Maybe her personal drama hastened her stardom burnout from her fan base.

I hope she puts on a great show and has continued success though I'm not a fan.:)

She fell into the trap of many child stars in that they are forced to grow up and start singing songs much older than their age. When she sang at 15 about taking a train and drinking champagne for breakfast she left the child star and became an adult star. So what happens in 10 years when they become an adult? They are used up. The industry moves on to the next 14 year old with a huge voice. At her peak her voice was one of the most powerful around.

She DID have an amazing start and amazing opportunities. She IS talented and blessed with a beautiful voice. But she has allowed herself to become typical...typically Hollywood, typically self-absorbed, typically shallow, typically plastic. I would hope she will someday take a good long look at herself and realize that she would gain more respect by showing more CLASS. I'm not a fan.

I don't really care for LeAnn Rimes. I wish NPAC would bring in some good southern rockers.

I heard the concert was poorly attended and she was not that good. I like you, would love to see some good southern rockers. Why not Skynard, Molly Hatchet, Allmond Brothers, or Charlie Daniels to name a few?

Allmond Brothers? Did you say Allmond? Well, their booking fee would most likely require a $250 ticket cost, as would most of the others you listed. I don't disagree that the NPAC schedule has been lacking, but they need to focus on up and coming acts, bluegrass, etc. Their tragic flaw is the inability to have beer, which can quickly offset the booking fee for a major act (the Allman Brothers).

I went. There are more people that attend my children's school programs than attended this concert but I think she put on one heck of a show regardless.
