Rudy quit Hoffman. They have been excellent song writers for years though. When they played last time with their new drummer it sounded amazing! You should definitely check the new guy out! He beats on those drums like Bobby Brown beats on Mariah Carey!lol They sounded better off if you ask me.

yea,yea,I googled them and they are so-so,the lyrics DO speak,and the bass player sounds good.Some bands just cant do the drop "D" thing,and as for the new drummer I could out play him ANY day,and I aint played in a band in twenty years,but I DO play every day!

When did you hear their new drummer? did u Google "new drummer"? lol and ya sound like a prick so I could see why no one has wanted to play in a band with you in 20 years. sure does sound like fun being 50 years old sitting in moms basement playing some pos tamas not writing songs in drop d. hey genius, when you play in a band(which you don't) its not about who is the best drummer or who is the best at this or that. its about writing good songs and enjoying what ya do. Also, they are playing Friday at the Hyperion... I would love to see you try to out play their new drummer..... I would laugh my A** off.

Well I aint fifty,or any where close.I majored in music in highschool and college,apparantly the drummer I googled (the band) was the old one,and as for the hype....Wilma and Andy would love to see me,it's been years.I really should go just to catch up and see how Andy's dad (Hueford) is doing.As for the other comments,drugs and drinking soured me on playing in a band.I was serious about my music,and excess took that away.No one could stay sober or out of jail/rehab so I quit.Sadly some of them are dead now,but thats the norm in the music buisness.As for the basement comment,some of the best drummers play that way,Shannon Larkin,Joey Kramer,Travis Barkley,just to name a few of my favorites.But hey you already knew that.

I'm a beginner at guitar and I write songs in what ever key I want and yes I can read sheet music because I play piano. Guitar tab is really simple though. well I could get on here and talk about arpeggios,pentatonic and blues scales and modes and music theory if ya want but I would certainly start to bore some of the people on here. I just was not too impressed with Mr tama bragging about how good he was. I mean mark Eades and John brown are 2 of the best guitars players around here and I've not once seen one them brag about themselves.

I have to say it's rather sad to see people getting bashed by the members of this band on here.Having seen Planet Hoffman live before,I feel qualified say that while they are somewhat talented,let's not over-do it people.They have been working on their "album" for 3 or 4 years and I don't foresee them flying off the shelves when (and if) it's ever released.Maybe those 30 fans they have on Facebook love them but not everyone thinks they are the best band in the history of the universe.That is what this site is about.A place for people to voice their opinions.So get off your soapbox guys and come back to reality.

first off lets get some sh*t strait. we really apreciate all the support from our fans. as far as the hatters go we apreciate you to. if your going to take the time out of your life to hate on us then we obviously made some kind of impact. bottom line is that we make music that WE want to listen to. if other people like it then thats just a plus. now there is a deferance between critisizm and slander. if you dont like our band thats fine but there is no since in getting personal. we dont care what any of you do privately so please return the favor. its called being an adult. as far as us working on our album for 3 to 4 years well weve only been back together for 2. like that and many other coments if you dont like us thats fine just get your facts strait so people will take you seriously. now as far as the album it seems like weve been working on it for 4 lifetimes. aside from the fact we all have to work, we are also working with one of the best producers in the industry, and he will not accept anything less than perfect. perfect meaning sound quality not an opinion of the songs. thanks agin

two more things. first the comment about us band members bashing people, thats not true at all. ive never bashed anybody that didnt first slander me,and ive never hid behind a screen name. second, as far as plowboy goes, that is hillarious. its gotta be funny as hell when they tell there friends to check out there family and they come across pics of us partying. i think id change my site if i was them.

Sorry to burst your bubble, I'm not in the band. I'm just a fan...so your comment about the band giving a hard time to posters is wrong. Another thing, if I love their music, then I can be as passionate about it as I want. You have freedom to post, so do I. You may not like for example deftones, but I do, and if I wanna think deftones, tool or planet hofmann is the best band ever, then that's MY freedom if opinion to do so. So NA NA NA boo boo on
