To report possible or known disability fraud call 1-800-269-0271 or go on line at www.socialsecurity.gov/oig . It's very simple especially if you go on line. You can be completely anonymous or give a little information and you will get feed back. It works. Since the government doesn't have time to keep up with the fraud, why lend them a helping hand.

That should have read --- why not lend them a helping hand? I am just really excited that as an American I have finally done something about my neighbor who I know has some fishy stuff going on at his business. If he's guilty then more power to the system, if not, well then I guess he'll just keep getting his check.

Is it true that the person reporting the fraud can receive a monetary reward if they make a report and the person is found guilty of fraud?

Not to my knowledge. Course for me just watching the fall of someone stealing out of my pocketbook is all the reward I need.

Lots of americans need to be makin the calls. No I don't like the government but it is not the governments fault that so many lazy a$$ people are living off my hard earned working money. Snitchin could prove to be very beneficial to all those of us who have got up every morning and had to drag ourselves to work -- whether we feel like it or not. For every one I can snitch on and get out of my pocket, well its good for the government but more important good for those of us who go to work. Don't sweat it bud, if you are ligit you'll still get your check.

What a crock of pooh! Boy some people must really be getting some checks due to fraud. This is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. You don't scare me. I'm sick and tired of all the fraud and all the free loaders. I believe there was a song once wrote about it. You free loaders are and have been walking on the fighting side of this American for way to long. I don't scare easy, I'm to tired from working hard all my life so you can get a check you don't deserve to be scared. Bring it on dude.

My bad - I checked this out - reporting income tax fraud is what can earn rewards. Let's just report them all.

Listen to you dickless wonders... snitchin this snitchin that, nobody likes a snitch..bla...bla. I bet you wouldn't care if someone snitched on a person who raped you 10 year old daughter, or snitched on the person who mugged your 80 year old mother now would you. Wrong is wrong and turning in someone who is breaking the law is the right thing to do. I'm not talkin petty shit like j walkin mind you but if you're doin it day after day or month after month you should get turned in.
Very well said. I'm surprised more people don't look at it this way. Surely if they saw someone being mugged in a parking lot they wouldn't simply say, "Well that person probably needed the money, so I won't call the cops."

It's getting more and more popular to tell on these losers who sit around all day taking from my pocket and buying drugs with the money they need to be out working for. Thanks to the information given on here that no-count uncle of my may have to get a real job. And before you ask no I don't feel the least bit guilty -- kin or not --- it's wrong.
