Liberalism is a threat to our national security because dependency on government makes people weak. And people like Kelly can't even think for themselves anymore, because it is obvious she gets all her talking points from msnbc. What a dummy.
We need to get rid of all these communist government programs. medicare, social security, the post office, labor unions, fmla and anti-discrimination laws which hurt small businesses. Like you say, government can't manage anything because they mess up everything. I agree totally. Time to take out the government.
Freedom ends where government begins. The founding fathers knew this. When the founding fathers created america, their goal was to free people from tyrants and give the common citizen the ability to self-govern. Now look what's going on: King commie darkie muslim has taken over the country, people who refuse to work for a living have taken over the country, we have turned our backs on God and tyranny is once again thriving.
Let people take care of their own healthcare, let people pay for their own retirement. If you didn't save up for your retirement or healthcare, not my problem. If you bought a house and can't afford to make the payments on it, not my problem. It shouldn't be government's responsibility to bail you out.
Seriously, if you bought a house you couldn't afford, then you should go live under a bridge with the rest of the losers. That will be a good lesson for you to learn. You should have been more responsible and saved instead of frittering away your money.
Obama was elected to give away gifts to people who don't work for a living. Pure and simple. Before he is done he will have 30-50 trillion in debt racked up on programs designed to rob people who work and give all their money to people who don't work.
Hope and change.

The Housr holds the power of the purse. They are able to defund bills. ACA is widely unpopular among the American people. We are already seeing job cuts, insurance costs soaring (although Obama said that wouldn't happen), people dropped from their insurance (Obama said that wouldn't happen) and I won't mention the cost of the ACA or the fact that if you don't have health insurance and don't opt into the program there is a fine. I hope you are the first to lose your job and / or see your insurance plan slashed.
The fact that you're comfortable with the government takeover of healthcare is amazing. They can't balance a budget (hence our $17 trillion in debt) and they f*** up everything they manage (Social Security, Post Office, etc., etc.)...
LAW/BILL......"ACA is law, deal! If you're " seeing job cuts and ins soaring" absolutely nothing to do with ACA, doesn't open until 1/14! January 1all those people you're talking will be able to purchase healthcare.......they CAN AFFORD! It is based on your earnings, much like MEDICAID! Such people as Roe have a particularly keen ability to point out all their perceived "flaws" with health care reform and other programs. The real problem is that they have no clue as to how to make things better or fix anything.

If I did not do my job, my boss would fire me. Doesn't Congress need to be held to the same standard?

Actually Roe put forth a counter to ObamaCare. Jump on his website and look at it instead of making false claims.

It is amazing that these libertarian leaning politicians are considered so evil. They simply want to limit the reach and expansion of government, which is out of control, hence our $17 trillion debt. Liberals like yourself never question anything the liberals do. What a weak stance.

Most of these "libertarian leaning politicians" you are talking about are not true Libertarians.

Like Michelle Bachman for instance, maybe you've forgotten where she came from? She is a lifelong Republican who morphed herself into the leader of the Tea Party Patriots in order to distance herself from the staggering unpopularity of being associated with Bush and the "old guard" Republicans.

These people aren't Libertarians at all, they are die-hard Republicans who were in bed with Bush on everything. When Bush's popularity went in the toilet and Obama took over, these tea-baggers co-opted the Libertarian talking points for their own gains.

Tea baggers like Bachman had no problems when Bush was running up most of that 17 trillion debt on war invading countries, no problems when Colin Powell, cheney and Bush lied to the UN and the American people, no problems when we killed a million in Iraq, no problems when Bush suspended habeus corpus in order to arrest and torture people without trial, or when he instituted all these Patriot Act spy programs. And let's not forget that Bush was the guy who created "Homeland Security", the single-largest expansion of any government, ever. And are you any safer? No, Homeland Security is just one gigantic charade.

And the list goes on and on. Only after Obama took over these same Bush-era programs did these so-called tea baggers like Bachman, Cantor, Demint, Allen West, etc. have a problem.

Go back and watch all the interviews cheney did about spying and waterboarding. Not one word of dismay from any of these so-called constitutionally-conscientious tea baggers.

Been there to his web site, done that. The man is a reactionary tea drinker and not a leader at all. We need leaders in Congress who will work to do their job and not a bunch of obstructionists who don't lead, but rather put up roadblocks for those who try to make much needed reforms.

So, a person can't change their political stance? I think more and more people are waking up to the ills of big government and moving more to a libertarian / limited government platform. I was raised a Democrat and remained one until I was well into my 20's. The more I studied, the more I rejected the Dem platform, so switched to the Republican Party. Over the last few years, my views have lined up much with Constitutional Conservatives / libertarians. I think some politicians have taken the same migration I have taken, although you're right, I am sure some change was for political gain.

As for your comment on the national debt, Obama had managed to accumulate massive amounts of debt and no, Bush didn't run up $17 trillion. The debt was at $10 trillion when he left office, although I agree, he accumulated his fair share, only to have Obama eclipse his debt accumulation. As for the Iraq war, the Dems had the same intel that Bush had and Bush didn't single handedly send us to war. When the House voted, 40% of Dems voted to go to war. I agree, that was a mistake. After, Bush was slammed because no WMD's (chemical weapons) were found. Those made their way to Syria (he had WMD's) and we're long gone from Iraq by the time of the invasion.

Your general premise is that just because Republicans have made the same poor policy decisions as the Democrats that we should support Obama and those in charge. I say it's time to end the irrational spending, overbearing regulation and failed policy (ObamaCare is a fine example of irrational spending and failed policy).

I ask that whatever you call it, you take a look at a limited government position. The government is the reason for everything that's bad that we're dealing with right now. Years of politicians on both sides screwing the American people. It is time for change. Those on the left like Obama, Pelosi and Reid, along with Boehner, McConnell and Graham on the right, are the poster children for what is wrong with politics. And I will throw this one in, Obama is the biggest corporatist to ever hold office.

I can't disagree with anything that you have stated. I was having a conversation with a man just this morning about the 2 parties. My theory is that BOTH parties are basically confiscating our money and giving to their constituents. They have different constituents on the surface, but a lot of the same ones beneath the surface. Your last sentence is right on the money.

Most of he Republicans are just as corrupt as the Democrats and there isn't much difference between the two. The difference I see is that most Democrats fervently defend anything Obama does and continue to enable the corruption. I have my fingers crossed that the Republican Party is seeing a rebirth, moving back to being a party where the power is with the people (at the state level), not with elected officials at the federal level. Amazing the hate from the left for those with libertarian stance. Truly a sign of ignorance, wanting to silence those who are trying to do away with government power and corruption.

I actually went back to school late in life and got my MBA. If you will, please elaborate on how Roe and the Tea Party are the problem. You know, a little healthy debate we can start. It is amazing how people such as yourself put so much faith an trust into those who are all about government expansion, while you paint those who look to restrict government growth and control as being the devil. The Tea Party simply wants to limit the size of government, which will allow the power to flow back into the hands of the people. As for carrying the water the rest of my life, as you so eloquently put it, another couple of years of Obama should take care of that for all of us.

And please, I await you expanding on how Roe and those like him are evil.

You people never cease to amaze me! You don't want a debate, you're convinced. Congratulations on that MBA, hopefully you'll be able to utilize it. Do you realize who the tea party really is? Do you know how much money they've filtered in? Do you know why they want to garner and maintain red domination? Obviously not!

The Koch brothers have invested billions in the tea party, one of the richest families in the world and they own Phil Roe and his associates! They also own every tea party politician, and apparently you! Phil Roe has lied over and over, you can not even speak to him and it's the same way with the rest of the crew! These little shenanigans they've got going on now will surely come back around, when he least expects it! Honey, ck the stats the legitimate stats, you have no link to prove your statement, I do. The debt limit was raised five times under junior, Reagan 17, I will continue, if necessary, you need to prove your statement of obamas spending, your passive aggressive, insinuation, show me!

Phil Roe wouldn't know the truth if slapped upside the head. It would be much easier to list the things he hasn't lied about, both of them, than what he has! You better look somewhere for your discussion, debates require facts!

BTW..........republican approval rating, 5%, lmao! He'd better keep stepping in high cotton, his time is nearer than he thinks! Now you have a fantastic day, hioney!

You're just another brainwashed liberal and I also admire your fascination with the Koch Brothers. It's really sweet. Okay, I'll provide links to back my claims since you've obviously been watching so much MSNBC that your mind is much.

1) Who is the Tea Party? They are a very loose based organization with no centralized structure that stands for Constitutional principles and limited government.

2) The evil Koch Brothers... They are a family with considerable wealth and they're looking to spend their money to sway votes. You obviously have no issue with the tons of cash the labor unions pump into Democratic races. They bought Obama. Below are two articles to substantiate my positions.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2012/07/10/sh ...

http://www.forbes.com/sites/danielfisher/2012 ...

3) Phil Roe has lied to me and I can't speak to him. Please, here is your chance to specifically list Roe's lies. I actually bumped into him in Johnson City a few weeks ago and went over and said hello. He doesn't know me, but he asked where I was from and was very approachable.

4) The debt limit was actually raised 7 times under Bush, not 5 times. Below is a good article on this issue. Do we keep driving up the national debt? We are reaching the point of no return - and as I have said, Bush was also a failure and I am not a fan of him either. The national debt was at $10 trillion when Obama took office and we just hit $17 trillion. By the time he leaves office, the debt will have almost doubled. Simply disgusting. Obama is all about raising the debt ceiling now, but in 2006 he called accused the Bush administration of "leadership failure" for looking to do the same.(link below).

http://communities.washingtontimes.com/neighb ...

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-chec ...

5) You claim that Republican approval rating is 5% shows your ignorance. Please, back that claim up. All of Congress has approval ratings in the tank - Republicans and Democrats. Obama has an approval rating that is in the tank and his disapproval rating is higher than his approval rating. See two links below to back my claims.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/165281/congress-jo ...

http://www.businessinsider.com/gallup-obama-a ...

Seems you're the one who needs to back up your claims. You believe anything the Democrats say and will willingly allow the government to continue to grow and grow and debt to spiral out of control with no questions ask.
