My tax refund can't be garnished by the IRS if I don't buy auto insurance.
My tax refund can be garnished by the IRS if I don't pay the $95 fine to opt out or sign up for the ACA.

I don't have to input all my personal information to an auto insurance company.
I do have to furnish ALL my personal information to the ACA, and it is shared with all government agencies.

Check to see which state started mandatory auto insurance and what party was in charge when it passed before you start the bs.

No if caught without auto insurance the states just fines you sure you don't have to pay if you want to go to jail . Auto insurance ask for about the same information about you and use any other means to find out more on web sites that sale or store ifo. NO DIFFERENCE I can see

Yeah, the government keeps it cheap by subsidizing it with tax payer dollars.
Now there's a plan.

Obamacare gives an 80 year old woman pre-natal care, maternity care, birth control, pediatric care for the kids, etc. The government knows best.

I wasn't that Medicare offered these services. I need to get out and around more. An eighty year expecting mother would be a miracle to me.

And, as far as the information required to enroll into the ACA, I had to give the same information whilst opening a bank account, purchasing insurance, health, vehicle and residential also to my employer.

Myself, I feel in any case, free medical care should not be allowed. No insurance, no care, unless you are capable of the bill.

I will go out on a limb, and predict that scared Dem. Senators who are up for re-election next year, will call for reform or delay of Obamacare, perhaps as early as January, after they hear from constituents over the Xmas break.. They do not want their futures tied to this albatross. People and businesses are not for a program which costs them more money, and causes them to lose their doctor or current insurance. This was sold to the American people on a fraudulent basis, in order to get the bill passed.

This will probably be repealed, to save their asses, and replaced with something else. It will be called reform. The Republicans need to be ready with a plan, such as premium support tax credits that McCain floated, when he ran for Pres. Obamacare, as we know it, goes down with Democratic votes, sometime in advance of the November 2014 elections. Listen to Benny. This turkey ain't gonna fly.

Great article. ObamaCare is a train wreck. Obama even insisted on calling it ObamaCare, as opposed to the ACA, up until the rollout. He has suddenly changed his stance and now refers to it as the ACA in every speech. He doesn't want his name nailed to it. Anyone who thinks ObamaCare is a good thing is a fool.

Right... Look, I hate to break the news to you, but insuring your vehicle and providing coverage in case of an accident on your end is necessary. I don't have faith in your driving skills, accidents happen.

This law in no way helped the ACA become active. Ignorance, lies, and a brainwashed nation is to thank for that.

Spreading the risk is not a good ideal your saying . I am with the original poster Government force to buy anything is misplaced force even if its for all the right reasons.

The difference between auto insurance and obamacare is, with auto you have an agent who works for an insurance co. who's responsible for your information, with obamacare you give info to a navigator, who can be anyone, then it all goes to the IRS. What does the IRS have to do with health insurance?

If you got hit by a teenage driver that has no way to compensate YOUR damages, would you feel the same?

What about a doctor or a demolition company? Do you feel the same way about mandated coverage when it applies to them?

When the government is giving handouts, the IRS will be invited.
