The " peace loving & tolerant Muslims " recently confiscated all Buddhas from shops in Iran. Like Barbie dolls & Bart Simpson from the Western culture, they have now banned the truly peaceful Buddhist icon. This should serve as yet another reminder to all of the LIBS that these people are not tolerant of other religions, ways of life nor are they peace loving. Based on the articles I read, these actions were by government officials & not the Taliban or other extremists. Food for thought .....

Really Nita Mann? You can't base your opinion of a country's government. Look at our government. There are people in that country and region just like you and me. They live a different life style and their government dictates what they can and cannot see, watch, and possess. There is peace and loving people in every country and within every religion. Their religion doesn't make a difference. You have extreme Christians that don't let their children play with Pokemon cards or read Harry potter books. You have white extremist that beat black people on sight for being a different color or religion. Look at the westborrough church. I have a friend I went to high school with whose parents lived in Iran and he was born here. His dad was a good parent and role model. He helped out chucky doaks soccer program a lot. They are peace loving Muslims.

Per the last line of my post, the action was by government officials. I once lived in an area where "refugees" came after the overthrow of the government back in the late 70s. Individually, I knew some wonderful Iranian people. Then, when more of the group came over it became a mini-Iran wherein all of the previous "cool people" suddenly thought we needed to adhere to their customs. In particular, I noticed major control issues over females & other Iranian ways of life which flew in the face of modern dignities and American customs.

By hell, neither government is getting my firearm/ammunition collection nor are they taking my Buddhas!:) lol

Your right. We should kill all Muslims. Because once the good congregate with the bad they become corrupt. No that's not the case. I know whole community's of white people that behave erratically and all think the same. But their are still a few I would sit down and have a beer with. Culture influences you and government controls you. If you have a open mind and self being you can see past culture, religion and everything else. Your just provoking the local racists and possibly turning people against a whole country and religion. I see people for who they are. I adapt to my government. I live in my heart. As long as you know right from wrong in your heart and mind your government can't take that away. And they are not going to "take" your Guns. Just control which gun you can obtain in the future. And what you can put on that gun. They will not come door to door taking your guns lol :) I've not seen anything in the media about them coming to our houses taking our guns. Just GUN CONTROL.

I never said ANYTHING about killing Muslims but maybe you are onto something there! As for me inciting hatred toward a nation of people? Really?! Wow....who would have ever thought that I had so much power to turn Americans against Iranians???

On the one hand you blame the government for the negative image of its people and then you defend the government on their power of taking our rights. Hmmmmm

I gotta go iron my superhero cape & polish my weapons of mass destruction now. Who knows, maybe my beliefs will incite riots in the peace loving Middle East.....

Lol don't get too defensive. Don't over react. All I'm saying is things you post might be read by younger youth and or the simple minded. I didn't say you influence every person that reads your post. But your posting and saying things about Muslims as a religion not Iran and its government. For example... Lets say little jimmy Johnson reads your post and all he gets out of it is the Muslim nation are not peace loving people.(As you stated) and then goes and tells his class mates that "in Iran Muslims take away all your Buddha statues and Barbie dolls" when in actuality it's their government. Get it? See how it can affect others opinions. And no I've never defended our government. Not one damn time. I don't post my political views. All I said WAS that they ARE NOT trying to take our guns. They ARE trying to regulate and control FUTURE guns you buy. And yes when I said (kill all Muslims) I was making fun of you :) because you sounded (this time) like all the other racist on Greeneville topics. I enjoy your post Nitta Mann you seem like a very intriguing woman. But this is one topic I disagreed with you on.

All I'm saying is, you can post all the bad things about Iran on here and people will read it and eat it up. But they will never know the good of Iran and its people. Yes there is good in Iran believe it or not. And not every Muslim lives in Iran. And most of them are peace loving. Just because they do different rituals then Christians doesn't make them bad. Muslims live everywhere. I'm not sure if your posting about their government or Muslims in general. Your post are confusing. You talked about Muslims then you said Iran and its government. Clarify this for me please. Muslims live All over the world and they don't run governments.

"Muslims live all over the world and they don't run governments" BAHAHAHAHA ok dokie! Lets see now, the leaders of Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia are NOT Muslims?! Wow! Who knew?! Allegedly, there is one running America these days! Lol

Ok, I'm completely misguided here. It sounds like B. Hussein Obama has it all under control with having the power to order drone strikes on US citizens or "terrorists". I'm all wrong about government control. I apologize.

Im not talking about barrack Obama or drone strikes. And do you think Christians run America just because ALL our presidents have been Christians. Do you think the people in Iraq blame Christians for killing their kids? Muslims do not run those countries. Dictators do. Hitler was a Catholic. What do you think of Catholics? Should we exterminate all Muslims because they think different than us? Like hitler did the Jews. Your taking everything I say and twisting it around. Play fair Nitta. Stay on topic this time. This isn't a argument but a mere debate.:)

And this time don't quote my last sentence and reply to just that please :) I wrote so much and you "thought" you found a flaw and only focused on that lol. C'mon Mann!

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Sagittarius

You're wearing rose-tinted glasses today, especially when you look at some of the special people in your life. Right now you only want to see their good points and you'll deliberately turn a blind eye to any faults that might be on show. If you can escape from the real world for a day with you-know-who you'll have a marvelously romantic and emotional time together. But do your best to come back to earth tomorrow.
