You both are so heartless. You need to learn to forgive. By you guys acting like this you are just as bad as you say he is. He deserves the life that lays ahead of him. He made a mistake. I'm sure you all made a mistake and hurt someone or their feelings that is just the same as he did. That means you are no better then him. You can call him a murderer or whatever else you want but that just makes you look stupid. GROW UP!!!! GET OVER IT!!!

In Dearborn County 4 people lost their lives in TWO different motorcycle accidents yesterday. Today another motorcycle accident claimed the life of someone in Ripley County. Yes, the boy was at fault in the first accident, but we have all made small mistakes while driving but only a few of us are big enough to admit it. It only takes a second to change a life.
Someone ask why there wasn't a police escort, there was a police escort. I also heard from someone who had past one batch of these riders that motorcycles were hugging the yellow line.
Motorcycles are dangerous. Riders have to assume some risk.
You know motorcycles are not dangerous it's the people that disregard them that are dangerous!!!My Son's life was taken at 23 years old while he was riding down a back road and a Van pulled out in front of him and killed him in a split second. There re some riders on bikes that have no business getting on a bike after they have been in a bar and drinking during the Poker runs and they are escorted by Police yet what's this?????

And when should the kids of the bikers that this guy killed "GET OVER IT"? In the end he has a life and they do not BECAUSE of him. I hope that one day he has to explane to the kids why he killed their parents.

I was working the day this all happened. They did not have a police escort, at least not in our county. I answered the 911 call when it happened. There are now words to explain what I was told from the caller. My parents ride motorcycles and I have ridden several times with my dad too. Tragedies happen everyday in vehicle and motorcycles but we all do not stop driving because of it. We should use things like this to make more cautious decision and be more aware. The kid driving will live with what happened forever! His own personal hell. As for those of you that talk about helmets, yes it is a choice but in a situation like this it would not have mattered. In response to the police escort, even if there was one (which at this point these was not) it would not have mattered anyway it could still have happened. The opposite lane of traffic still would not have to had stopped an escort it there to help draw attention to them but would not have help avoid what happened. I also worked the following day when a couple was hit on Prattsburg Rd/129 in Ripley County. My heart dropped wondering if were my dad because he also went on a ride that day. People need to be more attentive period no matter vehicle or motorcycle!
I hope I never have to answer another 911 like that, it will also be forever in my mind.

I just seen this. My prayers go out to his family. R.I.P to rider. This is never a good thing, but it's part of it. AGATT !! Some were just meant to be cagers. Sad that he passed away, but was doing something he enjoyed. Only a rider knows you live more in 5 min on a motorcycle than cagers do behind their air bags with 5 star safety ratings will in their lifetime. R.I.P my brother
