A Thinker

It shows a concern of the company for the environment. Maybe others will catch on.

Good for Subaru, and the other companies mentioned! My current car is reaching the end of its life, and I have been thinking that when the day comes to replace it, I will buy whichever car has the highest mpg. But reducing manufacturing waste is an important part of a car's "greenness" as well - maybe I will consider replacing my current car with a Subaru instead...

Please see Sunday's editorial; yes, hopefully this will catch on with other Indiana businesses.

Our family has been driving subarus for at least 20 years, mainly due to the all-wheel drive and the price. We are thinking of replacing our '98 subaru that has nearly 150,000 miles and were pleasantly surprised to find that a new car with even more features than the one we have, has about the same retail price as we paid 10 years ago!! Perhaps this greening is lowering the cost of manufacturing the car. GO SUBARU! Jon, you can get best mileage, safety and contribute to "greening.!!

The world and all the children in it will have a safer, happier place to live and breath if you buy a green Subaru.

403 Jugs
|
Hooray for Subaru....I love the reduce/reuse/recycle philosophy....but I gotta ask:
what's with the wiper fluid bottle? are we really to believe that a plant that builds 147,000 vehicles a year fills each one with wiper fluid from a gallon jug? what do they do, truck on down to Wal-Mar t every morning for their 403 jugs?
