Exactly, thank you! What some readers may also fail to realize is that there is a big difference between BBs and pellets. Pellets are .177 caliber, just a hair under .22 caliber, and are fired from compressed air guns which can be pumped from a light charge of air velocity to a higher velocity which can be as lethal as a gunpowder round. Fired at a sensitive area,.177 pellets can penetrate flesh and be deadly. The human eye, for example, or the throat. Pellet-firing airguns are not toys.

My daughter was shot during a track practice and was 5 inches from her eye. Police turned in the report but the prosecuter told me that they usually don't do anything in this matter and let the school handle it. The 18 year old that was driving was let go since he didn't shoot the gun. I feel they should have more repremand than an ISS. Go figure.
