Dever should be instructed to help pay for the funeral he was the cause of. It is because of people like Dever that innocent victims die brutally and families are left with the carnage.
I hope Metro doesn't let this incident pass with a simple driving class! I apparently didn't work last time.

I have known Brian for a couple of years, and he is genuinely a good man. When people say he should have known better I agree totally, but by making him out to be a monster is judgement no one can place on some one. He is old enough now to know that their are consequences for actions like that and unfortumately the family who lost a loved one payed the ultimate price. The loss of a family member. The Cheek family is in my prayers and hopefully they can find it in their hearts to forgive Brian with time a loss at the hands of some one else is never easy. Brian also needs prayer too. He has to live each day knowing that is actions cost some one their life, which is never an easy thing to live with.

Brian I am sorry people do not understand and I wish you well with all the things you are going through. Keep your head up and my prayers are with all.

God will never give you more than you can handle!

It's really amazing how some people are ready to pass judgement on him when he hasn't even been convicted yet. Just because the news states he was racing, doesn't make it so. Remember that they said that they were thrown out of the car, but I know for a fact that this is false. I have talked to members of the Cheek family and they had said that nobody was ejected. I believe that you should remember that the news gave false info. I truly believe that after all the facts come out in court alot of you will be eating your words, and I want to see if you'll be man enough to apologize.

May I ask Brian's last name, I was wondering if I knew either family. I am not aware of me knowing anyone in the cheek family. If you would rather not post his name I understand I was just wondering if I knew anyone involved. I hadn't heard about this until now.

I am sorry I suppose from the first persons post that Denver was his last name... Sorry for the family who lost a loved one, and to the man that will live his life with the guilt of that.

My prayers are with each family in their time of need.

I am a member of the cheek family and Frankie was ejected from the car. He died an untimely death at the hands of a man driving too fast. Brian caused this wreck and the only one who needs to apologize is him and people like you.

I've stated on more then one occasion that I was sorry to hear about the death of Frank, but it sounds like the family needs to get their story straight on if he was tossed, strapped, or pulled. If he wasn't wearing his seatbelt like the law states then that will have to be taken into consideration! I personally know Brian and I know how he babied his Mustang as well as was smarter then driving off the side of the road at a high rate of speed. It's funny how nobody wants to talk about Brian being the first one to the van and how everyone was asking about the driver of the Mustang and could not believe that he was the driver considering no cuts or bruises, and if he was traveling at a high rate of speed like the news reports then the Mustang would have had alot more damage. Now as far as an apology I would have to say your just out of luck because I ONLY apologize when I do wrong and I don't believe that Brian really owes anybody one as well, and after it's all said and done with I'm sure that he will walk out innocent of all charges.

Well it didn't take the Cheek family long to sue for money now did it? How long do you think it would of took for Frank to earn that amount of money? I bet that ya'll are just dancing on his grave right now, and maybe your planning on paying off that trailer!!!!
