This was my beloved aunt, Diana...The light of my world, MURDERED by her Husband, because he needed money....

May she rest in peace, and he go to hell... Aunt Diana may be gone, but never forgotten..

This was also my aunt. She was a good woman, we will miss her very much. I hope all family members are doing well.

For all of us the events of February 14th, were never thought to have come. As they led their daily life no signs were sent that something such as this was being even thought of. I believe if Diana had known something such as this, might have even occured she would have said something. I believe she was just as shocked as all family members are now. I want you all to know that if by any means if one of us knew he would do something of this nature we would have done all we could've to prevent it.

I am so sorry for everyone's loss in this dreadful chain of events. Diana was not only loved by her family but by ours also. Again I am sorry this has happened and my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family in your time of need.

Mrs. Maddren was the best teacher I have ever had the opportunity to know and learn from. I was fortunate enough to have her for 3 years in a row and I attribute much of my creativity now because of her teachings. She means so much to my friends and I, as a mentor and a teacher. I had the gift to work with her as a teacher...now that I am older, and I loved working with her each and everyday. In fact, I have some of her things in my class right now that she gave me when she retired. I will forever cherish these things and the wonderful memories of her!

Please know that our prayers are with all family members. Nobody ever dreams that something like this could happen in their family. Diana was loved by all . None of us ever dreamed that Greg would ever do something like this in his right mind. All we can do is try to be supportive of one another . They will be missed.

Please forgive my comment about the Deceased, Greg...

He was my uncle, just as she was my aunt. My Aunt would never encourage me to hate, but to forgive. I must do what my God has shown me, and forgive the sin that was committed, although I will never, ever, ever forget my Wonderful, Smart, Funny, Caring, Pet Loving, Aunt Diana.

I Hope the Family of Mr. Young can somehow heal, and move forward. We have all lost VERY IMPORTANT FAMILY MEMBERS, and our lives will never be the same.

Thank-you for making our closure possible, at the upcoming services in Kingman, AZ. I will be in attendance, and will pray for your family as well...

Hello, This is with great sorrow and a heavy heart! Our Son had Diana for 3 years in a row as his teacher and how blessed we were to have known her and be touched by her teachings! I remembered when she retired and how she wasn't feeling well. How excited she was to have her camper and to travel. What a shame this tradegy happened. Please know that Oxford is in morning with the loss of a great lady, teacher and friend! She encouraged our son to follow his dreams, and treated him with the utmost respect. He learned sooo much. These years were his best. May Diana rest in peace and watch down upon us. May we meet her again someday with her smiling face.

Tammi hi I just read your post. How often had Diana told you that Greg had needed money? I often wonder the same. I know that some cash was found in the house but as for how much I do not know. Did Diana ever state the type of things that Greg was into? My guess is as good as any, I know he was always wheeling and dealing or coming up with some crazy scheme. You can post in here or email me if you would like.

Tammy, your aunt will sadly be missed. She taught in my home town when I was young and later taught my daughter the last year of her career. My heart sank when I heard the news. My thoughts are with you and any other family members. She was not only the light of your life but a beacon of light for many, many children. Her lessons were not peerly academic. She taught life lessons and lessons of selfless giving. May her light always shine in your heart and in your actions.

I can never express enough the sorrow I feel for losing Aunt Di. I can't imagine what would have driven Greg to such extreme actions, but am greatful for his family's support of our family, and I'm sorry for their loss as well.
The fact that some of her students and their parents have felt strongly enough to make comments, is exactly what would have made Di so happy to know that all of her years of caring, supporting and teaching were worth it. She loved her students and was always most proud of them.

She will be truly missed by all of us, especially that GREAT sense of humor. No one could make you laugh like Aunt Di! Just her "Hee Hee Ho Ho" laugh could send me into fits of laughter.

Thanks to all that wrote in and expressed their sympathy.

I know this site has helped our family express the great love we had for Aunt Di, and for each other. It is Sad that this turn of events took her life, but lets try to think of all the good that she brought into our world. She litterally helped Hundereds of Thousands of Children find their place in Life, and in school. I was blessed to have her as an aunt, and to be named after her. She was Diana Lynn, I am Tammy Lynne, and I named my first Daughter Jessica Diane. She will never be far from my heart, and always in my memories.
I know that Diana would not want me to Hate Greg, and I am doing my best, trust me, but his actions have forever changed my life and my family. She did not have I choice, but I know she is in Heaven, somehow trying to get my Brother Paul to pay attention and put down his basketball, and playing with all the children that she has ever met and all the four legged children, too.. I miss her, deeply, but know she will be waiting for me when my turn comes.. and that alone makes my unafraid... My Aunt always met me with open arms, and some things never change....
