Many of the people who yell and act up at these meetings do so in total frustration. The public sends letters, emails and phone calls to our elected people about what they want done, and their wishes are ignored. How many did not want the hospitilization that obama and company shoved down our throats? How many have voiced their concern that our laws are being ignored by our very own government regarding illegal immigrants? I have wondered if our government isn't guilty of something because they do nothing to see that the law is obeyed, and they have done nothing in the past about it. This is just two examples of the way our federal government is taking over our very lives--doing as they please. It is scary to see how they push us aside until it comes time to vote. Then we get the false promises again and fall for it. Too many of our elections find us voting for the candidate that we think will do the least harm. That is sad when we must have some honest and able people who would work for the good of our country that could be in office.

Ohio Wrangler: I agree. People have to be willing to speak up. We are supposed to have a "government for the people and by the people". Those in power are supposed to be working for "us" and our "best interests" as a whole.

I don't know about your way of life and how things are going for you, but my life consists of "just getting by" and most of the people I know are just getting by. Businesses have shut down, people lost their jobs, and where do they go to just get another one? Ha.

Try to buy (or even just try to find) items made in the U.S. Pretty much impossible, right?

U.S. sends money all over the world to "help" other countries. Need to help our own first. Who is going to help us?

U.S. people are in need of a lot of things like, food, etc. right now. But what U.S. people need and I believe really want, are jobs so they can support themselves. Not handouts. While handouts are appreciated, long term handouts become a way of life to people.

I am unemployed right now and I have never been unhappier. I am unproductive and depressed.
