I have not loved the er. The 2times I have had to go I was really pissed with the lack of care. That's a pretty common complaint I am finding. Haven't found a primary care dr yet that I'm happy with so I'm still working with the dr in he town I moved from. Salt lake city is a couple hrs drive and I know a lot of people ho travel there for their medical care. I'm happy with my urgent care PA at the clinic I go to when me or the kid are sick though.

Sure RS is a great place to raise your kids, if you have a name, or if your uncle is a city councilor. Should teach them how to street fight, they are gonna need it, better yet do like we did and carry a knife, just in case. Then when they are grown, if they don't know or arent related to someone. Their only job oporunities will be bottom of the barrell. Good skills for survival are teaching them to dodge police cars after curfew and how to build a beer bong, because there is nothing else for them to do. I could go on and on. I was raised in Rock Springs and I now reside in the Pacific NorthWest, there are reasons for that!
haha...love your POST..I have lived in Seattle for 23 years, RSHS class of 1986

the some of the police in Rock Springs are very unprofessional. take my neighbor. Last he arrived home from shopping as he was getting out of his car our alcholic neighbor(his kids were taken 2 months ago by family services take a wild guess why!) was walking by his car the drunk neighbor starting swearing at the man and swung his walking cane at him. out of frustration for missing him the drunk neighbor proceded to break out his rear window on his car.the police were called & Officer Robert Cottrell. our neighbor scared for his life came out and was accused by the police for starting the problem(he was cold sober) and the drunk vandal left his half empty bottle of liquor on the street 10 feet away from the broken window. the sober picks up the liquor bottle and dumps it on the pavement for the vandal's drunk wife to see. Officer Robert Cottrell says he is starting trouble(its ok for the police to dump booze out but not civilians?Officer Cottrell advises neighbor to drop off the damage estimates(500 in damages) in the morning to the police station. he does and makes a statement to the officer on duty and goes home.an hour later the officer at the station is pounding at his door and writes him a ticket for vandalism, the drunk called the police when he arrived home and said the sober neighbor damaged his car!

it getting better now! our sober neighbor was outside taping up his damaged car and had to call 911 because the drunk neighbors were outside yelling threats to the sober neighbor who had to flee for his safety! theres 3 witnesses down the street that if they good citizens will help out.
one thing the drunk neighbor was an "alleged paid police informant" possibly the main reason him and the wife are not doing time for child abuse.
Well citizens of Rock Springs chances are the sober guy will be arrested so they can keep their prized stool pigeon happy who has been arrested many times for booze related offenses. read the papers this week!

one more thing i dont sergeant's name i can describe him bald headed and thick mustache. in my opinion its the first i felt evil in a person. dont ever volunteer info to him. i almost got turned from a crime victim to a criminal. i got a feeling this sergeant is going to move heaven and earth to prevent me from testifying against the man who broke out my car window. I just heard a story about a Rock Springs police who committed suicide in a car with 3 other police officers riding with him. he was supposed to be going to Cheyenne later in the week. any body know about this incident in the 1970's. or has anybody had or heard any incidents even if they happen 50 years ago. bring it up.

I guess i was right I had to get a motel tonight my neighbor has called 911 and said I beat him up. Why are the Rock. Springs police so protective of someone who lost custody of their children and has been arrestEd multiple times for alcohol and assault get released by the courts with a slap on the wrist?

6 months my neighbor gave my underaged son some liquor as a result he crashed the car into the next house over. Amazing story my neighbor was never ticketed for serving alcohol to under aged children. I told his public - pretender lawyer this David Arnold he didn't help much I received a letter last week withdrawing from the case. I went to the station complaining about giving my son booze at least 3 times before the accident happened they did Nothing!!!!!!!

Last May he got my drunk and possibly drugged again he got arrest at the hospital. My son stated in the police report that he had been drinking with our neighbor his public pretender Jody James withdrawn from the case too!!!!! His blood alcohol content was near the fatal amount, no charges were filed. What adult in his right mind would do that? My luck the court will oppose one of these 2 bozos as My public pretender!

Is there a state income tax in Wyoming?NO
I have my interview for the job there tomorrow, so I should know in about week whether or not I'll be moving there. We (my family and I) are really excited about the chance. My wife and kids have lived here in South Florida there whole lives. One of my daughters has never seen snow.
The town we live in now is about 120,000 people but is part of a greater Metropolitan area that is over 1,000,000. It is going to be culture shock for them. I have lived in small towns and rural areas before. But, not them. They are in for a real shock. Yet, they say the welcome the change.
What cell phone providers are in the area? My research indicates that Verizon and AT&T are both there. But do you think one of them (or another provider) has a better signal there?
I appreciate the info. I'll have to buy you a cup of coffee and donut when (if) I get there.
Which reminds me. Do they have a Dunkin Donuts there or will I need to stockup before I move there?
Thanks,
George
There is No state income in Wyoming and Very low property taxes!!!!!!!!

I just got a job offer there and I'm only 22 years old and from the deep south. I don't worry about any that's been said here. There is bad in all places. Our town was the meth capital of the world, doesn't mean there's not good folks. Plain and simple, don't get involved. Don't try to scare folks not to come there, they probably have an opportunity like I do that is rarely found. I'm taking it head on, no regrets. I will earn what I finally deserve.

I grew up in RS and think its the worst place I have ever lived. Definitely teach your kids how to fight and get them in AA and NA before they start using drugs that way it will be easier for them to quit. Lots of dirt flying around and instead of damp sheets at night expect dirt in your bed if you ever leave your window open. It never rains...tumble weeds. Its just a pit and should just be abandoned like many western towns were back in the 1800's
