My heart goes out to this mother. How dare these people make a mockery out of a family's private time to say good-bye and grieve. That is repulsive!

I agree with you, Melina. Funerals are a family's private him to say goodbye, not a time for people to exploit death for their own political agenda.

I totally agree with this. Funurals are private affairs for family and friends to mourn the loss of their loved one. These a$$hole protesters are a bunch of classless cowards. What exactly are the achieving with this exercise of "free speech" besides making people hate them. If I ever saw them, I don't think I could contain my rage and the urge to go beat the total living (blank) out of them for doing this. If I was ever on a jury, I absolutely would NOT convict someone for doing the same to these lowlife scum POS's who are exercising their "free speech."

YOu want to protest, go to Washington DC and protest people who actually make policy, not funerals of our honored service men and women.

These people are the scum of the earth and God will juge them not man. The judgement of my Lord God Almighty is truthfull and He will have no mercy on their soul unless they repent of this sin. So when we see this pray for God to have mercy on them. God says that we are to follow the laws of the land and our service men and women go to defend this country reguardless of the scum buckets that would defend nothing. As they protest the funurnal of the fallen service persons, shows what they really are and God is watching.
He is the score keeper and the wrath of God is to be feared. They may practice free speech but we know how to pray freely to God to bring them down. Praise God and to him be the Glory.

Antiflag, you using a new screen name?

There's freedom of speech, but these people who protest at soldiers' funerals are crossing a line. The families of these soldiers have a right to mourn the loss of their loved one who gave the ultimate sacrifice, and their right trumps the right of free speech.

Exercise your right to free speech by protesting in Washington DC where the policy makers are. Protesting at funerals only makes people hate these protesters and ignore whatever message they're trying to end. If I'm ever on a jury, and someone's on trial for beating the ever loving crap out of these protesters at a funeral, I'm voting "NOT GUILTY" in a criminal trial, and awarding $0 if it's a civil trial. ANy of these protesters deserve anything bad that happens to them for doing this.

I love America and have devoted much of my life to defending it. THose soldiers died making the ultimate sacrifice to defend America and our freedom of speech. They and their families deserve much much better than to have some low-life clowns, who know nothing about the source of their inalienable rights, protest at their funeral. THey deserve whatever ill happens to them resulting from their poor choice to ruin a sacred private ceremony intended to allow family and friends to privately mourn the loss of a loved one who made that ultimate sacrifice. If you can't understand that, you truly are a hopeless miserable excuse for a human being

Sorry, they didn't die defending America. Iraq never attacked America. They died for Big Oil. Get used to it.

THey died serving their country, which is probably more than you've ever done in your life. That said, they and their families deserve far better than to have some losers protest at their funeral.

Get used to it.

I had a very logical response. What is the core purpose of political protest? ANSWER: To gain positive attention, win public opinion over to your side, and get political leaders to notice and hopefully change policies to those the protesters agree with.

Those who protest at military funerals are utterly failing at all of these. They're incurring the most negative attention possible. The vast majority of Americans abhor what they're doing. Therefore, they're utterly failing to win ANY public opinion to agree with them. What attention they do get only makes people write their politicians demanding new laws that limit or even prohibit these protests at military funerals. THis does NOT succeed in converting public opinion or the politicians to the protesters argument.

If these protesters had any morale courage at all, they'd go to another country, such as China, Russia, or even Iran and protest the governments there. As far as I'm concerned, these vermin are the lowest form of humanity and deserve any negative consequences that happen to them as a result of their actions. A funeral is a private ceremony that allows friends, family, loved ones, to mourn and say goodbye to the deceased. This is a totally inappropriate place and time to protest and exercise "free speech."

If you are incapable of or unwilling to see that, then Antiflag, you truly are a pathetic excuse for a human being.

These people do not represent God and are actually hate mongers...you are right to be angry with them.

"Be angry but do not sin in your anger" Jesus.
