I remember reading about the sheriff getting busted in a sting operation up there, in Phillipsburgh, over 15 yrs. ago. If I remember correctly there was new assistant prosecutor working for the DA and "she" noticed that there were two files bulging with complaints against him. I believe she contacted the FBI and they caught him hitting on a young abandoned-looking guy that was near a bus stop and also the sheriff's "path". Why it took a newcomer to the job to do anything about this guy is the real disgrace here. Perhaps he was in charge when this other guy was trolling for boys. I knew a young woman who was working for Warren Acres and she remembered the then-sheriff coming in and leaving the place taking young guys with him to spend weekends on his place. I am shocked after reading the link to this news article..to read how light of a sentence the sheriff received. He had been in office for quite some time and then mysteriously "retired" about 2wks. after getting re-elected. I'd say the two cases are related. How horrible.
