As a tax payer I don't think that he should be able to do this. We pay for his gas, insurance, oil change, tires, vehicle tax and he doesn't have a car payment-we pay that also. He doesn't even own a vehicle of his own cause he drives he's police car everywhere! Why is this allowed to continue?

its not daddy, this has been a problem here way before george was in office. All police officers have been seen using there patrol cars for personal use and it sickens me. What if one was to get a call while there children were in the car what would they say "hold on dispatch tell the gunman not to shoot I have to drop my kids off first" It is a bunch of bs. I hope this recieves alot of attention because this issue needs to be addressed.

Two of our cops live in Boyd Co. So, that's why they are there all the time.

So they are allowed to drive their cruisers home to another county of residence? Seems like that could get expensive to us Grayson taxpayers.

I agree but think about it, if daddy makes 2 stop taking their car home then he would have to make his baby boy who does what he wants, he's rude as hell to everyone he talks to. Why? Because daddy is the only one that has the power to fire him. And he thinks he's the smartest cop alive and he is, if you don't believe me just ask him!!! Hahaha he keeps most everyone that works for "him" mad because he's so damn rude to them, I know I've heard these cops talking but they know better than to say anything cause daddy will get rid of them. Can't something be done about this? And don't say go to the meeting and talk to the other idiots at the table cause if it's not the fire dept he don't care what happens and the others know daddy has final say so! Heard he was in a place of business drunk (in Boyd co) and left in "gray charger" with official license plates. He has NO boundries, so learn to live with it!

I work in south Ashland, Just about every morning on my way to work I see a Grayson police car at the Blackburn avenue and 13th steet light intersection. Come to find out a Grayson police officer is living in south ashland and is using a police car for transportation. Shouldn't the officers that live out of GRAYSON HAVE TO DRIVE THEIR OWN CARS?! Instead of costing the city all that money

I don't know why a man of his age wouldn't want to be on his own, without relying on his parents/ and the city government to support him. He's a total welfare case. Maybe he's the one that needs the nickname "mooch"

There's many jobs that allow their employees to drive a company vehicle, nothing wrong with that.

Alot of jobs may let their employee's drive company vehicle and there is nothing wrong with that. BUT when you are a city cop in one city you should not be allowed to drive that city car over 20+ miles into another county! When everyone that has to pay city of Grayson taxes for the up keep of the cruisers and the fuel. Especially when fuel is almost $4.00 a gallon!!! We are not talking fuel effeciant car either!! We are talking Dodge Charger!

I agree.

I guess the chief of police figures his hands are tied with Travis being able to use his cruiser as his main means of transportation, he can't say anything to the other guys. I actually feel bad for the chief of police cause he can't really do anything with Travis with the mayor being his daddy. George won't always be mayor, then what will happen to poor Travis? He'll loose all his perks, he'll have to start paying insurance on a vehicle (after he buys a car), he'll have to pay for his own gas, oil changes, tires, etc etc.

Not using taxpayer money!!! I guess that is what the payroll tax went on us for. Some people can't buy bread and milk, but the Grayson police can drive there car to Boyd co. I drive my personal car to work and pay for my own gas. And I must say that the mayor and council were smart when they put the payroll tax on the people that can't vote for them.....because most people that pay it don't live in the city limits....

I believe Travis could crush and snort a pill on Ed Ginter's desk right in front of him and there's nothing he could do about it. There's major favoritism and the entire city knows that. I've heard other police officers talk about it. I think Travis is proud of it! If the ONLY way I could excel in my career was to have my dad be my boss I wouldn't be proud of myself.

George needs to realize that he's not always gonna be around to hold Travis' hand, that'll be when Travis will get a true taste of what the real world is like, it'll be at that point when he fails miserably in life.
