you know people make money doing everything what in the hell is carter co complaining about.. you have nothing to complain about.. it beats all the dopeheads like andrea womack running around selling pills... so what people are not successful at it... there are those who are. not everybody that goes to law school is not a successful lawyer... not everybody who is a car salesman is good at it. not everybody makes it through college because it is not for them... it is plain and simple there are real people in your community that are and they have the proof and people are losing weight. my friend debbie had cancer and she began taking the shake after her chemo and her hair grew back immediately. she lost 44 lbs and is driving a bmw and she has only been involved since christmas...
It's really not a matter of it working for some because it does.JasperRed's post,I believe, is an honest accurate of the problems inherent in MLM. I was in one and It had the best matrix and payback plan of any I have ever seen or yet to see. Problem was that when I had finally reached the point of actually operating in the positive side the owner, we found out later, was spending way more than what was coming in. It got to the point where some got paid partially with money orders, etc.... and the company went bankrupt. All because of greed at the top. I'll be the first to say that MLM works and there is a lot of money to be made but, as JasperRed said in their post, there actually IS a saturation point, like if everyone in carter county were a distributor who would you sell to. Easy? Definitely not. One has to continually expand their geographical area of growth and that requires more and more of your time and what was promised to be something you can only do in your spare time a couple days a week suddenly turns out to be that you are only home a day or two a week, not to mention the ones in your downline that drop out because they are not willing or can't do the same thing. Odds are better that you hit the lottery, my opinion, and then I'll drive that Buggatti Veyron Super Sport 16 cylinder quad turbo 1200 hp 4 wheel drive with top speed of 277 mph that I paid cash for, all 2 million bucks (estimated depending on options), and meanwhile I kinda like my Durango. It's paid for and very useful. My home is paid for and I'm pretty content. God has been good to me and frankly I don't wish to dedicate so much time and money into something that moves like a wave across the nation. I totally agree that there is money to be made in it and lots of it IF you are aware of and willing to put the time and money that they forgot to telly you about into it. My findings after being is way to many MLM's is that you learn when to get in and when to get out because whether people want to believe it or not there is an end to the rope.

JasperRed...... totally agree with your post.

do you research on how you get gelatin before spouting off. my grandparents were butchers with their own meat processing plant and i saw gelatin made several times...

Gelatin is a protein substance derived from collagen, a natural protein present in the tendons, ligaments, and tissues of mammals. It is produced by boiling the connective tissues, bones and skins of animals, usually cows and pigs. Gelatin's ability to form strong, transparent gels and flexible films that are easily digested, soluble in hot water, and capable of forming a positive binding action have made it a valuable commodity in food processing, pharmaceuticals, photography, and paper production.

when it was first discovered, they would boil calves legs.. the entire leg... not just the hooves... the process is still the same with other bones, ligaments and tissues involved.

its also the base for JELL-O.. you know, that HUGE brand name that everyone loves?? especially the mormons??

Of course I know where gelatin/Jell-O comes from. What the f uck is your point? You people from canada get on here and ignore every single post that makes any sense, and instead just advocate for visalus. Go back to the earlier posts on how terrible pyramid schemes are, and refute those (if you can, although you can't because they are correct), instead of talking about Jell-O, for God's sake.

And please explain why the people who sell this stuff are all morbidly obese, while you're at it.

Connie go read my posts instead of lipping off 'people from canada' hahaha

I replied to every single post that was in regards to my postings.. so your "you people from canada get on here and ignore every single post that makes any sense" is absolutely ridiculous. Maybe read some more about what I put and what others have put, rather than jumping to conclusions that this person represents canada. haha.

And i'im guessing they were making that point about jello so that people realize there is much worse stuff out there than some synthetic nutritional shake... Like i was saying in an earlier post

2 of my friends sell this crap, and they both believe that its their calling and they can do it the rest of their lives. The one friend who sells it, has not even lost a pound, she actually picked up quite abit, and this same friend just got a free BMW from this company....something about this company just doesnt seem right...

I don't care what the product is, direct marketing is the fastest growing industry in the US. corporate America is a "pyramid" only the ones at the bottom has no chance of moving to the top. They trade their time for dollars based on what the ones at the top dictate. Yet we have NO PROBLEM driving to work every day doing what someone else tells us we must to or no paccheck. someone else wants to break free, change the model of their existense, improve their lifestyle, provide a future for their family they could never do on the clock....and THEY are the FOOLS?.....really????

That's the point. Nobody cares about an overpriced, inferior MLM product. There is no market for them. Most people won't buy an MLM product based on principle alone. The rest are either happy with the superior product they are already using, or have zero interest in them. As a result, the only thing getting sold is a get rich quick scheme.

Look at the math people! The only way an MLM can succeed is by having massive and systemic losses throughout the bottom tiers. If you are one of the lucky 3% to make ANY money, or one of the.1% fortunate enough to earn a large amount of money, then you are actively participating in a system where the vast majority of people are being deceived.

I feel like I'm beating my head against a brick wall here. If people are comfortable giving their money to a few rich swindlers at the top of a pyramid scheme so be it. But if they choose to do so, then yes they are fools.

For the record, TWO women at my gym have a BMW courtesy of Body By Vi and one of them has done so well that she's pulling in $25,000 per month. Yes..PER MONTH.
Crack Dealers can earn a BMW too, and lots of people make 25k a month from scamming you out of your money with bogus investments. Whether this product is good or not...I dont care.....the way it is being sold is ridiculous. This will fade like every other health product that has been marketed in this manner.

The fact that they have BMWs and are making "$25,000 per month" should tell you something right there. Where does the money come from? From the peons under them in the pyramid scheme. They must really be ripping a lot of people off for these people to be rolling in it like they are. But even so, our economy is based on capitalism so more power to them, right?
Except, THE PRODUCTS DO NOT WORK. Look at these woman. Don't listen to their lame attempts to explain why the product works but it just doesn't work on them. This product, by itself, won't do a thing for you. If you exercise and eat right then wow, you will lose weight.(With or without this expensive crap.)
Think about it this way. If there were a magic potion then Oprah would have bought up the company and be touting it as a Favorite Thing. There is no easy way to lose weight, but there IS an easy way to get rich, it would seem. Take advantage of an entire town by talking them into sinking in so much money that AFTER THE COMPANY DIVYS UP THEIR PROFITS they can STILL buy 2 women in Grayson alone a fancy car and give out huge royalty checks. And the women all still weigh 400 pounds, and the sad people in Grayson are so taken in that nobody is questioning anything.
Shame on these people taking advantage of an entire town in these terrible economic times, and shame on the little man for not questioning anything and getting sucked in.
Does anybody remember the Fortune Hi Tech Marketing scam a few years back? Think about it, people. Google "Body by Vi" and see what shows up. SCAM. PYRAMID SCHEME. LAWSUIT. Please don't waste your money.

Oh really? Well, I've got a great product for them, I call it Clear N' Bland. It's a transulcent liquid and is one of the secrets of life itself. You actually can burn calories just by drinking it! AMAZING! It has no calories, and burns calories as it is transfered through your body. I'd love to sell it to you, but once I do sell it to you, it would be nice if you would sell it for me as well. We can be a team! I'll tell you the chemical make-up of my fat burning wonder-cure: H2O. I've heard that you'll lose a lot more weight by substituting your Visalus products with a nice tall glass of Clear N' Bland.
