Vi is a joke. A scam for people to make a killing on selling complete crap! A woman showed me a picture of her before and after. There was no difference she was wearing stripes in one. That will make you look a little bigger, but that was it.. she was the same size. She said she'd been on vi for a year. Wow, a year..? Didn't look like it to me. I believe the person who posted found and searched the information as for the gym trainer. You all just want the green and I mean MONEY!

Also, my husband WHO has MD, was being doped up by DOCTORS & could NOT get his Energy up, only to be given MORE & MORE & MORE DRUGS that ONLY kept him in bed SICK! Visalus saved his life & NOW he has more energy than ever & is NOT taking the Drugs & is back to WORKING! My Sister was on 4 different med.s from DOCTORS, only to have a light stroke , over weight & sick. after reading your downgrading stories, you all either work for the government or you are jealous because you are not successful! For one the government don't want anyone healthy they want to pump them full of drugs and have them to die off!!! I have so many testimonies to tell just don't have the space to type them!! ENOUGH SAID!!

No, I do not work for the government. I was told myself that if I got 3 people to join in with Vi that id get my shakes for free & that id also be up for a spokes person to sell the junk. If I were a dishonest person I might do it and get a BIG check and new cars as some people say you all get as well as the big cruises they promise you if you sell so much, but I am not posting for that. Your doctor's tell you to eat right and have a well balanced diet.. home grown vegetables out of my garden and water is what I eat and drink. Not, McDonalds, Wendys nor Burger King. If you eat that there you will gain weight if you eat there constantly. You have 17 family members who probably eat poorly before and then went on a shake that has fewer calories and guess what I bet they told you to what "work-out" .. yes! I bet they did. How come whenever you watch a television commercial they have for a diet product whether it be for a diet pill, weight watchers, nutra-system.. what does it have in tiny letters that they don't want you to see so they can profit? "Diet and Exercise". Without diet pills you can diet and exercise and lose weight! There are tons and tons of research on the internet about this worthless crap. What worked for you is you got up and moved & consumed fewer calories! The woman who told me she made "big bucks!" said she hired a personal trainer... hmm sounds kind of off doesn't it? She's losing weight that way to so she can maintain her weight-loss to keep that check coming in and to win her some cruises or whatever it takes. You think what your selling is not processed and completely organic? Ha! Your researching the facts your reading into the money, the bribes!

No, Thank You.

I went to one of those shake parties, and I took one look at the ingredients and said 'no' because it sounded far too artificial for me. I was trying to talk to the lady who was pushing the products and she said 'I'm not a scientist, I'm just a sales person'. I would be more inclined to give Vi shakes a chance, but the fact that most of the video focused on the pyramid scheme made me extremely skeptical. If the product is great then fine, market it as such and then have the fact you can make money as an after-thought. At the end of the day, I am mad at my friends because they only invited me to the party to get free shakes. It had nothing to do with them caring about my health, and that is very, very sad...

I find it very interesting that Body By Vi has actually incorporated the word "scam" into their internet searches, even going as far as claiming the top google search result as their own domain name. You actually have to scroll through a few search result pages to find something that actually pertains to the validity of the business scheme or quality of product.
I have not tried this product, I will freely admit. My trepidation at trying it comes in when it is sold primarily as a means of making money (which by all indication is the majority of what I've found). If this company is able to give away cars, pay people "25,000 a month" as someone up-thread has claimed, luxury cruises, and free product, then how can they afford to invest in what they are selling? Or for that matter, male any money at all? This is not necessarily picking on Body By Vi, as common sense should tell people that something doesn't smell right with any business that purports such things.

I know people that sell this. Kim and Victor. They whole heartedly believed this would work and they have sunk their hard earned money into this company. They truly believe they will get a new car from this, all expenses paid (like insurance, gas, tags, etc). This company not only sells a bogus, low quality product, they practically brainwash people into buying and buying and buying so that they meet certain goals, then they encourage you to "recruit" everyone in your circle of friends into becoming a distributor also. They want you to sign up every customer you have to sell the product also, so you are left with no customers, only with more sales people for the company. It is sad how Kim has become so obsessed with this and you can not explain to her that its a scam. She is hooked bad. REALLY SAD, my friend. I wish you would come back to the land of the living and end your zombie fascination with this cult like company. I can't talk to her anymore because all she will have a conversation about is visalus. I try to talk to her about anything and she will cut me off and say, "Boy, my Visalus shake I am having is delicious. You should try adding peanut butter, it makes the taste better". To me that is nuts. THis company has brainwashed her! Plus, she has sort of stopped talking to any family and friends who aren't on board. This is nuts and these companies should be illegal.
The only person around here with an all expense paid car is Travis Steel.

I'm sorry, all of this information is great, but when it boils down to it, look at the fat people selling the product. That's like buying homeowners insurance from an arsonist.

All that being said, if these little piggies can make money off the hogs of Grayson, then let them do it. We'll see a bunch of BMW's driving down Carol Malone with sparks flying of the driver's side fenders.

Remember hydroycut and metabolife and the many other dangerous ephedra-based products? Those used to be sold at my local area Kroger store!:-) Trying to determine if a product is good or bad shouldn't be based upon whether it's sold at GNC or Kroger.
Ever buy household items (toiletries, etc) from Amazon.com like millions do? Unbelieveable...buying deodorant from a bookstore - that sounds like a scam!
Are you grasping my sarcasm yet?
In case you haven't deduced it yet, I actually am on the Vi-Shake, a weight loss product from Visalus. And SHOCKING, I am not (nor have I ever been) a seller/retailer of these products. Moreover, I'm not some fat slob that would obviously see an immediate impact from taking anything because their eating habits are atrocious to begin with.
I'm in my early 30s, run several miles daily (five days a week), have a balanced diet that includes 6-8 glasses of water a day (purified for the poster that made the snarky comment about water in the products), and don't drink carbonated beverages. I supplement with two Vi-Shakes a day and they have had a significant impact on my overall health since I started using them.
The problems with forums like these is that there's no camera to see who is hiding behind the computer screen making these accusations against a company with great products. I usually picture someone who is likely overweight, sipping on their diet coke (deluding themselves into believing the diet will somehow offset the bag of doritos sitting next to it), letting wild accusations fly with no basis of education or credibility behind what they say.
I absolutely love this statement! I am looking into trying Body By Vi and this casts a completely differt look as to the many different people who use it. I haven't made up my mind yet so I'm gonna keep researching.

That's really funny. You know how you described the fat person drinking diet coke with doritos laying next to them and throwing wild accusations. That's what I think when I see these women touting their snake oil on Facebook. Except substitute diet coke for a v-shake.

Do you emphasize your point by MAKING IT ALL CAPS? Why do you do this? The majority of people OVERLOOK YOUR STATEMENTS because you TYPE IN CAPS so MUCH! When it boils down to it, these women are selling snake oil, just like most "MLM" pyramid schemes. They prey on the deluded and gullible, and all you can do to help those people is to tell them that their wasting their money on a product that will do about as much for them as Slimfast, except it costs a lot more than Slimfast. It's sad to see these people so easily parted with their money, but hey, that's social Darwinism for you. I detest these super-obese women selling the product, because it has turned them into zombies. You know that, if they have any brain left at all, these women know the product didn't work, because it didn't help them at all.

As much as I don't like the women selling the product, I don't like the people dumb enough to buy it either. So...*shrug*

u r obviously way misinformed on the industry of network marketing as a whole. if u dont see the trend that the best form of advertisement is word of mouth and that brick and morter stores are closing down and moving by way of the internet well then you should study a little more.

Brandon,

First of all 'network marketing' is not an industry. Things like audio equipment (naics 532299) or camping goods, or any set of goods that have a horizontal integration is an industry.

Marketing is a tool to inform about a good or service (or idea such as patents). It is not an industry. Herein lies the problem of multi level marketing: it treats the marketing as the product. If this was a legitimate product then they would invest in actual marketing as a whole to their desired target market. But they are not worried about selling their product, they are more focused on recruiting franchisees to try and market it themselves.

To anyone who has lost weight, good for you. Im happy for you and so is everyone else, but please realize that by getting 16 of your family members to become distributors too takes away from your client base. Why would a company want to take away from their customers.

Conclusion: this company must have hq in cairo cause all i see are pyramids

Funniest thing I have ever read on the internet and truest! Go look at Mrs. Jone's pictures on her facebook page. Oh wait. You can't. She doesnt have any new ones posted. Wonder why that could be? If u were losing all that weight wouldnt you be showing off a little, i mean I would!

This is a SCAM and if all of you want to continue giving away your money that is fine, just know that there aint no magic potion and if there was everybody would be skinny. At the very least the people SELLING this stuff would be...they are the fattest of them all. Watch out for the BMWs, all that static electricity from the sparks might cause the cars to spontaneously combust, if the tires dont blow first.

People, it's just a protein shake. It's not snake oil. The people who lose weight are doing it because of the PROGRAM, which emphasizes diet and exercise, along with a support community and proven nutrition and exercise information. Anyone losing weight isn't doing it with just one product. The shakes are a starting point for the journey. That's it.
