It's time to stop giving Ashland, Cannonsburg, and Morehead revenue, jobs, and tax dollars that could be kept right here at home. When people say we don't have anything to do here or places to eat here that is one of the biggest reasons. Allowing alcohol sales is a huge win for Grayson if it happens.

What a great idea. Litter the little town with a skanky bar on every corner. The pill-ho's and pushers will have somewhere comfortable to initiate business.

I myself do not drink either. The extra tax money brought in from the alcohol sales will help stretch our tax dollars a bit farther too. BUT we in no shape form or fashion need a Walmart in Grayson. Walmart has proven everywhere that runs an anti-people workforce. Lets try and bring a Mejiers to this area. They at least aren't anti-union.

Hey, if you want trashy bars, pushers and hookers on every corner, knock yourself out. I don't live there.

I was in Grayson the other day though. It was the middle of the day and quite cold/windy outside when we saw this young woman walking down C.M.Blvd with a tank top on, stomach exposed, looking like the ultimate druggie, tattoo'd up and the biker chick look going on.(She had to have been really cold.) Girls like that used to hang out at truckstops and were called 'Lot Lizards.' This kid didn't look a day over 18 though. We were pulling out from McD's and got a close-up look. All 3 of us in the car were like, "Look! a Grayson hooker!" We'd never seen one there before.(It was really pretty sad because she was so young.)

But, if that's what you want multiplied ten-fold in your tiny town day and night, have at it. Vote for it! No skin off my teeth.

Be careful what you ask for because you just might get it.

If people can drive 20 minutes away to buy their booze just how is having a drink with dinner, he'll even 3 or 4 drinks gonna give this town more hookers as you call them. How about you start preaching to us about all the evil of drink sales with our dinner. Get your head out of your outdated ass and let's get Grayson up to snuff.

How do you know she didnt just receive bad news and was in kind of a sort of shock, or perhaps she has mental problems. Dont be so quick to jump to conclusions. Grayson is only askin for resturants to sell achocol not bars or carry outs. You sure dont see hookers on the corners in Ashland do you.Hey, if you want trashy bars, pushers and hookers on every corner, knock yourself out. I don't live there.

Do you have trash like that walking around Texas Roadhouse and Applebee's? You're an idiot! We aren't voting for dance clubs and strip joints. Just nice resteraunt where u can eat a steak and drink a beer. People are so stupid! More people die in DUI wrecks in dry counties than wet, per capita. If you even know what 'per capita' means. Look it up

I have two questions.

1.Will Kentucky Christian Students be allowed to vote
2. Are they trying to legalize both package stores and by the drink or just the latter.

No students unless they live in that precinct It's for a moist vote by my understanding.

Providing this town with anything that encourages business and economic growth is potentially great in my book. However, persuading such a huge religious crowd in this town is about impossible.

I personally wish that church groups would realize they've eaten at restaurants that provide alcohol and that anytime a town or county legalizes the issue, it's heavily regulated. "No sales on Sunday, ID required, etc".

I sure hope it goes wet, think of all the jobs it will bring with all the new resturants we would get in Grayson. It would be the best thing to happen in our town in a long time.

I have lived in Grayson all my life.An I personally would love to see more things here for us to do.I have wanted it forever. But like someone said this town will never change, when you got the Justices,Sam and a few others owning this town telling eveyone that it will hurt their business. That is why so many move out of here to go somewhere that they can do family things together. I wish that Grayson would bring in a Walmart,Apple Bees,a bigger mall and a movie theater it would help out ppl looking for jobs here and keep our family close. But that is just my opinion and it doesn't matter what we write on here nothing because Grayson will never change
