"judge not lest ye be judged"<quoted text>I agree. "Real Christians are not supposed to be mean and hateful but they ARE to be judgmental. It's just that so many don't know what type of judging they are supposed to do and judge everything they see. Judge as to discern and make a choice between two or more choices, actually. Personal agenda is a huge problem but you can't group "all" Christians into the same box. As far as St. Peter, who knows where that came from but it ain't Peter that you meet at the gate. But you're right, There will be a rude awakening when they stand in front of God and He says:
Matthew 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore "by their fruits" ye shall know them.
21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will "I" (Jesus) profess unto them, I never knew you: "depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
So you see that even Jesus doesn't group all believers into one box but judges between the two, just as we are to do except we cannot condemn and sentence. We are only to be aware of the difference and as a Christian we are to try and correct and help those who are doing NOT according to the ways Jesus taught but instead have their own agenda. But Jesus is the one Who has the final say so, not us. Who knows if they may change next week or next year and do what is right. How would people like it if they were sentenced to jail before the trial?
I don't mind people criticizing Christians who have their own agenda and play Christian but I DO mind grouping ALL Christians into the same box.
"Let him without sin cast the first stone"
"Love those whom curse thee"
Commandments while Christ was on Earth.
