Christ shined in Tommy's life and if anyone spent any time around him would've seen that. He may couldn't have balanced a check book or things like that but he could quote Bible versus and knew the Bible well. He will be missed but is dancing with the Lord as we speak.

Tommy was a lovebale fellow that regularly rode around Grayson on his bicycle. The times I encountered him, he was meek, quiet, and always polite. I rarely saw him interact with a person without a smile. I dont know any details about his health, though I a;ways assumed he was of some deminisged mental capacity. I moved away so,e time ago, but he is one of thos iconic peoles you always remember about a community. I am sorry for his family and friends for their loss.

Yeah when you think of some great iconic people from our area, Tommy, Soda Water, and Bobby Griffey come to mind right away.

I was told he would give his bicycles away to a child in the fall and go buy a new one in the Spring. He is being buried at the Veteran's Cemetery per the newspaper.
