What is up with all the parents sharing smokes with their kids? Did We forget we are supposed to teach our children and care for their health?

You have to be a low life parent who doesn't care for you kids if you would support their habit and share smokes with your kids knowing that you could be giving them lung cancer and killing them.

Tobacco is grown all over Carter County and sometimes that's just a way of life in the South. Parents pass down bad habits like smoking, chewing, moonshinin', etc. What kind of "kids" are we talking about here? 16 and 17 year old teenagers? They're probably smoking anyways.

It is this kind of response that makes the world believe the stereotypes of the south - Like daughters have to fight off their dads, brothers, cousins and uncles all their lives to keep from being raped and having 6 kids before they get out of grade school.

16, 17 - Does not matter...the law says 18, but if you LOVE YOUR CHILD and want them to live why teach them a habit that will kill them.
The south used to be known for an honest days work of hard labor in the fields.......why the hell can't we teach our kids that habit?

It always amazes me how many teens take up smoking. Parents should not share smoking with their kids.
