H1N1. Thoughts Please?

I have school aged children and have not made up my mind on my kids getting this vaccine. I would love to hear your thoughts on this subject.

It has been reported in most schools already. With the shortage of the vaccine I would only vaccinate anyone with "other" health issues. I personally will get a case of the flu from a vaccine so I take my chances.

My spouse and I are recovering from H1N1 and it has been no picnic. He developed secondary pneumonia and I was nearly hospitalized with bronchitis and airway distress. My oxygen saturation was 81. It should be 95 or better. A week later my saturation is still low at 89. I have an underlying medical condition which made this flu hit me harder. So don't discount the facts that the flu can be serious business. Stay well people.

I wonder how many folks get the H1N1 flu shots and still get the H1N1 flu. My hubby and I have decided not to get the shots as we're pretty healthy and have no underlying health problems. We may have immunity to it, but the youngsyers are the ones to be concerned about. Any thoughts?.....
