I live in Grayling. I just drove to see the exact location of our fire. It is easier to explain, if you are heading north. When you get to the rest area right before Grayling, that is where the fire began burning. It burned all the way up on the north / right until you get to the sign that says,"Grayling Traverse City exit 1 1/4 miles. This is where the fire jumped 75 and continued to burn on the north side, burn in the middle and burn on the south side, all the fires headed to Grayling. Where you would drive up our exit into Grayling or past the via-dock(sp),the fire continued a long the route, and on the south side,it stops at what use to be Holiday Inn and is now Ramada. They are dozing, there are still hot spots and it is warm. But snow by Tues. which for our area isn't unusual. I hope none of your families homes burned. God Bless
