1 Corinthians 15:52 proves there will be no rapture, for Jesus does not return to this earth until the last trump,7th being the very last , there is no 2 phase to His 2nd coming. 2Thess.2:3-4 tell us Jesus will not return until after the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, Satan himself defacto, pretending to be Jesus.

But when the antichrist comes prior to the Second Advent there will be no change of bodies. This is the fail-safe way to know that this one is the false christ, for you will still be in your flesh body when he (antichrist) comes. This important fact is lost on the Rapturist however, because the Rapturist has been been beguiled with satan's false teaching that the above Scripture {1st Cor 15:51-52} is not speaking of the Second Advent, and that it is not a change that all people go through at THE SAME TIME, but rather that it is speaking of a 'Rapture' of some selected people. It was necessary for satan to remove the most damning evidence that he is not Christ, but that instead he is the antichrist.

Satan accomplished that by fabricating an entire facade about some supposed pre-Second Advent prior to the true Second Advent of the Son of God Jesus Christ. satan spawned the Rapture theory, in effect creating three Advents out of the two Advents written of in Scripture. And once that was accomplished with perhaps half of all Christians, he has paved the way for the following events:

When satan comes to earth as the antichrist, he will tell the Rapturists that he wishes to help the un-saved become saved before he fulfills the Rapture. He will purport to be doing this out of his great love for humanity, after all, he will say, he is the Messiah, and Messiah's save. The Rapturist will dare not question this one whom they believe is Jesus Christ, the Son of Almighty God; they will even glee in the great compassion and patience of this one, thus they will have completely bought into the deception of satan "and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate" {Dan 11:31}. See also {Dan 12:11, Mt 24:15, Mk 13:14}, they now have been 'marked' by the Beast, though they know it not yet.

All questions are directed to Darrell G. Young and all responses are from Darrell G. Young a Spirit filled man who loves the Lord with all his heart .
Question # 29 How can you promote the pre-tribulational rapture doctrine when the word “Rapture” isn’t even mentioned in the Bible?

Answer……. While the specific word “rapture” is indeed never mentioned in the Holy Bible; the concept of the rapture is most definitely related to us in the Bible. The commonly used term “rapture” is the English word used to relate the action described by Paul in I Thessalonians 4:17 where he specifically indicates that those who remain alive unto the coming of the Lord shall be “caught up” in the air to meet him. The usage of the phrase,“caught up” denotes precisely what the Greek terminology for the same concept teaches. The Greek term “harpazo” means “to be caught up; thus the reason for the usage of the term “rapture”. John the Revelator was also “caught up” in Revelation 4:1 as a prefiguring of the church event known as the rapture. The second coming of Jesus is described in the Bible in adjective terms which describe two separate phases of his return. His appearing in clouds to “catch away”( shepherd ) his church is synonymous with the Greek term “parasouia”; which is related to in many New testament verses.( I Peter 1:7; Titus 2:13; II Timothy 4:8 ) His coming in majesty and glory,( King of Kings ) is revealed in many scriptures by the Greek term “epiphaneia”.( Zech. 14:4; Rev. 19:11; Rev 1:7 )

Question # 31 How does one make sure that they are included in the Rapture?

Answer…….. The only way to be certain of being included in the rapture is to be assured of your salvation. Salvation can only be obtained by accepting Jesus Christ as your atonement for sin. Jesus said “I am the way, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me”( John 14:6 ) and in Acts 15:11 we are told that if we believe in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ; we can find salvation. Jesus has promised in Revelation 3:10 to “catch away”( rapture ) all those who have accepted his grace that also remain alive unto the coming of the Lord. All those who find salvation shall escape the wrath that is to come, via the rapture event!( I Thessalonians 5:9 )

Question # 32 Are there any specific signs pertaining to the time for the Rapture?

Answer……. There are no direct signs to indicate the timing for the rapture. Jesus himself stated in Matthew 24:36 that no man could know the day of the appearing of the Lord. While there are numerous signs relative to the Last Days, and for the second coming of Jesus at the end of the tribulational era, the only Biblical references regarding the sudden catching away of Christians are secondarily related to the rebirth of the nation of Israel, and to the general conditions of the church during the last days. Jesus referred to his coming for the Church as being comparable to the sudden appearance of a thief.( Matt. 24:43, Luke 12:39, I Thess. 5:2, II Peter 3:10, and Revelation 3:3 )

Question # 38 How do you reconcile the two scriptures of I Thessalonians 4:16 and II Thessalonians 2:2 as being compatible with the pre-Tribulational Rapture point of view? Do you see this as being a continuation of the same subject? If so, then how can the Rapture take place if the “Son of Perdition” has not yet been revealed?

Answer……. The verse in II Thessaloninas 2:2 is a reply by Paul to the members at the church at Thessalonica concerning their fears that the Lord has returned, and they have been left behind. Paul instructs them to not be troubled, or shaken in their faith by teaching to the contrary. Paul continues to say that the “Day of Christ”( Day of the Lord ) will not commence until certain other things take place first. Namely, 1.) The Falling Away of the church, 2.) the exposure of the man of sin. The verse from II Thessalonians 4:16 relates that the Lord shall descend from Heaven and the dead in Christ ( deceased Christians ) shall arise first, ahead of those who “remain alive” when Jesus descends from Heaven ( second coming ) with the whole assemblage meeting together in the air. In both chapters, the Thessalonians were encouraged not to be troubled, and even to comfort one another with these words. Jesus had promised to return and get them, and beyond that to bring with him all their departed loved ones who had died in the Lord. He would do this prior to the Day of the Lord. However, the Falling Away would begin to permeate the world church previously, and then after the Lords return, would be left exposed as an “apostate church”. Actually the fallen condition of the church should indicate the nearness of the Lord’s return.( the falling away was a distant reality to 1st century Christians ) The withdrawing of the faithful church by means of the Rapture is necessary for the revealing of the “man of sin” to occur, because God has promised to keep his bride from the hour of temptation.
( I Thessalonians 5:9 ) The Rapture must happen prior to the revealing of the Antichrist. It could not be timed to occur at any other point and still be synonymous with all these scriptures. The coming of the Lord, and the Rapture, are each depicted in I Thessalonians 5:2 as being comparable to the sudden intrusion of a thief into ones household. It comes as a total surprise to anyone not watching! An understanding of the term, The “Day of the Lord” is vital to understanding the synchronization of the events of the pre-trib Rapture and the revealing of the Son of Perdition. The verses of I Thessalonians 4 are a clarification of the rapture event. The Day of the Lord, and the Son of Perdition comes after the thief has already appeared!

Question # 39 How can a Rapture take place if the Son of Perdition is not yet revealed?

Answer…….. This question concerns II Thessalonians 2:2-3. The “Day of Christ” is synonymous with the Old Testament phrase,“Day of the Lord”. II Thessalonians conveys to us the information that the “Day of the Lord” shall not come until the Son of Perdition is revealed. The Day of the Lord is a day when God will exact his wrath upon a Christ rejecting world, and which also has accepted the Antichrist. Thus the reason for permitting the Son of Perdition to be revealed at this time. Accordingly, God has promised his bride that he would “catch them up”, and “keep them from” this time of the Lord’s Wrath. The restraining function of the Holy Spirit within the body of Christ shall be removed to permit the complete unveiling of the mystery of iniquity which shall be embodied in the Son of Perdition Too often we associate the Tribulation era only with the wrath of Satan against Israel. But it is in fact a day of the Lord’s Great Wrath against all the ungodly.( Zephaniah 1: 7, 14, 15 and 3:8)( Zechariah 14:1-4 )( Revelation 6:17, 19:17-20 )

Question # 41 Were the Thessalonians aware of the event which we now refer to as the Rapture?

Answer…….. The Christians of Thessalonica were probably not at all familiar with the prospect for the Rapture. They weren’t even sure that Jesus hadn’t already returned to the earth in their lifetime, and completely forgotten to include them among the great gathering of the saints. In fact, the members of the church at Thessalonica were quite ignorant with regards to the whole topic of the second coming of Jesus, the gathering of the saints, and the proper sequence of these developments. In fact, Paul says in chapter 4:13 of I Thessalonians; “I would not have you to continue to be ignorant of all of these things”. He had already established a familiarity among them of the “Day of the Lord”, but they were incognizant of many of the details concerning the second coming of Jesus.

Question # 57 I find the idea of the Rapture to be completely unbelievable. How could anyone in their right mind possibly believe that millions of people around the world will suddenly disappear, and be spirited away in the clouds?

Answer……. Well, I can commiserate with you when I am in my natural mind also. The mere idea of an actual event like the Rapture does indeed seem unrealistic in the humanly logical sense. But, this supernatural event is conveyed in the Bible, therefore I believe it. The Bible also indicates that Enoch, Elijah, John the Revelator, and an unknown man in II Corinthians 12:2 experienced a similar experience. Jesus also was caught up into Heaven after his resurrection. So, it isn’t altogether unique. Ironically, many people today believe that alien spacecraft are abducting people off the face of the earth, so, I guess people only require a spaceship to make it a believable phenomenon. Apparently the Bible isn’t convincing enough!

Question # 115 Can there be anyone be saved after the Rapture of the Church?
This subject has caused me a lot of anxiety over the years because I am terribly concerned about lost loved ones in my own family, and I realize very well that the signs of Jesus return are increasing day by day. I have often been taught so many different things on this subject, and I would dearly love to know the truth.

Answer……… You will be glad to know that the answer to your question is a definite YES. The Holy Spirit will remain on the earth during the Great Tribulation era, and will still direct people to salvation in the Lord. However, because of the removal of the restraining function of the Holy Spirit, and the sustaining embodiment (church) of the restrainer, the evil conspiracy of the Antichrist will prevail over the entire world during that era of time. That means that anyone that rejects the mark, the number(666), or image of the Beast will find it extremely difficult to survive during that span of time. God's primary focus will be on Israel, and using the witnesses of Israel (two witnesses…Elijah and Moses or Enoch, plus the 144,000) to draw Israel to repentance. But as Revelation 20:4 indicates, many people will refuse the Beast's triad of Worship.(Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.) So, as you can clearly see, these dear Saints were on the earth after the Rapture and will be faced with a choice of accepting or rejecting the religious system of the Beast. Revelation 14:11-13 offers encouragement to all who reject the mark, number, and or image of the Antichrist.“Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth,” and in Revelation 15:2 the tribulation Saints are pictured as having obtained the victory over the Beast by accepting the seal of the Lord.(Grace) Revelation 13:15 depicts that the Antichrist will seek the execution of all who refuse his mark/number/image.(Many will reject it and seek the Lord) Yes, people will be saved after the Rapture! It won't be as easy as it presently is in our “Age of Grace” however. Unfortunately, for too many people it takes persecution to compel them to search for God, but in that terrible day many will look for him, and like always, God will provide! This is one reason that Bible Prophecy is so important.

Question # 172….(06-23-03) Will some Christians miss the rapture, and encounter the Tribulation?
Answer…………..Absolutely not! Every truly born again (spiritual rebirth) believer is a member of the Bride of Christ, which shall not be subjected to the “wrath of the Lamb.” And that fact is something that needs to be emphasized over and over. The tribulation is a period of time that will witness the wrath of the Lord! Too often, we categorize the tribulation solely as a time of Satan's wrath, but it is also a short span of time when a Christ rejecting world will encounter the wrath of the Lamb.(the Bridegroom) What kind of bridegroom persecutes his own Bride? Certainly not Jesus!(Revelation 6:15-17 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?) The answer to that last question is of course,”Nobody”! No one could contend with God and survive. The good news is that nobody “has to be subjected” to the wrath of God. Unfortunately, many will choose to ignore God's gracious offer of his beloved Son, and blindly plow right on ahead into the coming supernatural conflict between Jesus Christ and Satan's Antichrist.(II Thessalonians 2:7-16 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed,(antichrist) whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth,(rejected Jesus Christ) that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion,(accept a false Christ) that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us “everlasting consolation and good hope” through grace,)
The Bride of Christ has been assured by Jesus that he is coming to “receive her unto himself” before the coming Day of the Lord.(Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee)(Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I (Jesus) also will “keep thee from”(not merely sustain you through it) the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.)(1Thessalonians 5:4-11 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.(the reason for the many signs of the times that the Lord has given us) Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake (remain alive to rapture) or sleep,(die before rapture) we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.) That comfort is associated with the blessed hope for the believer.
The “blessed hope” should reside within the heart and soul of every Christian. What is the Blessed Hope? It is the fervent knowledge that Jesus will keep his promise to rescue every single Christian believer before the terrible hour of temptation.(Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that “blessed hope”, and the glorious “appearing”(parasouia-Rapture) of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.) It certainly would not be a blessed hope if a Christian could ascertain the signs of the times and deduce that the time was imminent for him to be subjected to the wrath of God. The only way that the Tribulation could be a “resident blessed hope” for a Christian rests in the fact that God will catch away his bride before resorting to warfare on this world. And that analogy fits perfectly with the Kingly Sovereignty of God. What sort of King would fail to recall his Ambassadors before he declares war? Satan can never harm a Christians soul, nor cause him to miss the Rapture, but he certainly can rob a believer of his blessed hope, and that is one of his conspiratorial plots against believes in these Last Days!

Unlike some ministries that teach that salvation may be lost, FOJ firmly believes in the salvation-security of every Christian. I often tell people that it is an impossible thing to “unknow” the truth, or to un-birth oneself from the family of the Heavenly Father! It is just as impossible to lose one's salvation as it is unnecessary for Jesus to be sacrificed more than once!

Oh, yes, as Christians we can abandon him, and stray far from him, and lose our fellowship with the Lord, but we cannot destroy the relationship with our Father that is based solely upon his wonderful and marvelous Grace!

(1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.)

Question # 229….(08-16-04) Doesn’t the verse in Revelation 13:7 indicate the fact that the Church will still be on the earth during the Great Tribulation? It says the Antichrist will be given power over the Saints. Since God must surely grant this power, since all power is his, isn’t this verification that the Church is still on the earth and that God is allowing his Church to be purged?

Answer……. In Matthew 16:18, Jesus informs Peter that the Church will always be empowered enough to resist the onslaughts of Hell, and that it will never experience a situation whereby the powers of darkness will “prevail” against it.(Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.) The word prevail is taken from the Greek word “katischuo”, which means overpower. Granted, the gates of Hell has made great inroads and infiltration’s into the world Church body and has gained ascendancy over many of its governing institutions, but the real body of Christ, that sincere faithful loving body of Christian believers will never be taken from Christ’s possession.(John 18:9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I [Jesus] lost none.) Oh yes, the world system does indeed dominate the Church body-politic even today as it has in the past, and the coming political power of the Antichrist will certainly dominate the Apostate Church world of the Tribulation. That is why John depicts the whore of Babylon riding the back of the beast. But the promise to the Last Days faithful bride of Christ is recounted in the letter to the Church of Philadelphia and is particularly relevant for the Christians of the immediate pre-Tribulation era.(Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation,(Tribulation) which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.)

The verse of Revelation 13:7 actually indicates the absolute vanity of the Antichrist’s conspiracy. Satan has often historically accomplished the feat of overcoming the Saints of God while they have been in the world, either through political intrigue or religious deception, but He cannot ever prevail against the seal of God on our souls. Verse six of Revelation 13 reveals the fact that the war Satan is engaged in (now and the future) does not prevent Christians from being logistically (them that dwell in Heaven) relocated to Heaven. The Saints that the Antichrist overcomes during the tribulation are post-rapture, or Tribulational converts. With the removal of the great restrainer, (II Thessalonians 2:1-7) the Antichrist is left empowered on the earth to an unprecedented level. Due to this circumstance, as well as the fact that the Antichrist will have virtual universal power, the saints of the tribulation era will be left exposed to the wiles of the climactic Satanic conspiracy during that time. Revelation 13:16 reveals the fact that the Antichrist will possess sufficient universal power during the Tribulation to deny trade and or living sustenance to anyone that refuses his infamous mark, number, or image. Revelation chapters 14 and 15 reveal that God will allow this demonic elite-status to occur to separate the heathen from the saints of the tribulation era. (Revelation 14:9-12 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, [only offered during the tribulation] The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.) Unfortunately, many of these tribulation era saints will suffer martyrdom at the hands of the Antichrist. (Revelation 20:4)

The Antichrist and his false prophet comrade (Rev. 13:11) will perpetrate a grand religious deception upon the religious world after the rapture. It will be cunningly fashioned and orchestrated to deceive many disillusioned church-religious types who have been afforded the opportunity to hear the word of God, but have consistently rejected it in the pre-tribulation era. Multitudes, however, who have previously been untouched by the Gospel will accept the testimony of God’s salvation that is provided through the witnesses God sends via Israel during that short period. But sad to say, as verse fifteen in Revelation 13 concludes in the context reference for your question, the Antichrist will cause the deaths of those tremendous and courageous saints who reject his image, his mark, or number. (Revelation 13:14-15 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.)

Question # 256…..(08-08-05) Is there any hint of the Rapture given in the Old Testament? It seems to me to be a little presumptuous of the Church to think that it should expect to escape the coming Time of Trouble, and Israel would have to endure it. If there are only New Testament references for a rapture and none on the OT, then maybe the concept is in error.

Answer……. The Rapture is typecast in the Old Testament in a few references. In Genesis 5:24, the scripture records that Enoch walked with God; and then all of a sudden, he was no more. The Genesis record states that Enoch was not because God took him away. This taking by God could not have been through the valley of death for the New Testament book of Hebrews asserts that Enoch was “translated” and did not see death.(Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.) The Greek word for translated is the word,“metatithemi,” which mean to be transferred, carried over, caught away, or changed. The translation of Enoch seems to be intended to prefigure the change, or catching away,(harpazo) of Saints at the end of the Church Age, as the succeeding verse in Hebrews describes Enoch as a man that expressed great faith in God, and had the testimony of faith, which pleased God. In a society that was exceptionally wicked, Enoch was noted for his rock solid faith in God’s word, and his faith is a fore-glimpse of the destiny later promised to the faithful in I Thessalonians 4:17.(Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.) This is precisely the spiritual status of the Christian believer, and is the basis for being counted worthy to escape the coming Day of the Lord’s Wrath.(Luke 21:34-36 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.) Only the last generation of the Church Age can expect to experience the instantaneous translation typified in Enoch, and thereby escape the coming day of darkness. Enoch’s son was Methuselah. Enoch apparently named his son Methuselah because he had received a promise of the Lord that the Judgment of the great flood would not come until Methuselah died. It is noteworthy to realize that Enoch was translated before the flood Judgment, and that Methuselah became the oldest living human being in history. These facts belie the longsuffering patience of the Lord, and the fact that he has promised to keep his faithful from the hour of Temptation.

Another typology example of the rapture in the OT is found in the catching up of the prophet Elijah.(II Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.) An interesting thing about these two occurrences is that Enoch was a Gentile and Elijah was an Israeli. Enoch’s translation precluded the whirlwind ride of Elijah. Elijah's prophetic activities emphasized the unconditional loyalty to God required of the nation of Israel. Elijah emphasized Israel's responsibility for total commitment to God and the covenant responsibilities which God and His people had sworn to each other in the Abrahamic Covenant. Apparently, this is the reason that God will recall Elijah back to Israel after the translation of the Church, when Israel is under siege by the Antichrist, and the whole world, minus the Enoch-believer-types, shall face the hour of temptation.

(Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.)

Thirdly, an inference of the Rapture is panoramically pictured in Jeremiah 8:20. Here, recounting the fallen and seemingly hopeless condition of Israel, the prophet considers Israel’s plight to an unfruitful season. He writes; “the harvest is past, the summer has ended, and we (Israel) are not saved.” This is a reference to the blindness-in-part (Romans 11:25) of Israel that will continue beyond the time of the great harvest, until the times of the Gentiles is fulfilled. The harvest pictured here is those faithful believers taken up in the rapture. The pictogram of Jeremiah reveals that the summer has ended, the time of labor is passed, the harvest is to be reaped, and now is the time for the consummation of the tares, while the wheat is preserved.(Matthew 13) After this season, God will turn his attention back to saving Israel, and fulfilling His Covenant with them.

Question # 281…..(03-06-06) Couldn’t there possibly be a gap of time between the Rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation? And if so, wouldn’t that throw cold water on there being any significance to all this end-times speculation?
Answer……I realize that there are a lot of writers that theorize that there is a rapture gap. However, I do not proscribe to that theory. I firmly believe that Daniel’s prophecy concerning the yet remaining 70th week of Israel’s historic 70 weeks (490 years) of judgment is set about the seven year span of the Tribulation era. The 1st 69 weeks (shabuim) of these weeks ran their course through the crucifixion of Jesus.(Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.) God foreknew that Israel would reject their Messiah, and that he would be caught up into Heaven. God’s plan for Israel also necessitated their Diaspora and a later return of a remnant. The restoration of Israel by a remnant of Jews in 1948 signified that the nearness of the 70th week was not long away. The rebirth of the nation of Israel should always have been a clear sign to the Church that its program in this world was drawing to its climactic close, and that God would return his program for Israel to the world’s center stage. The information concerning the 70th week alone does not preclude that the Rapture cannot occur well before the start of Israel’s 70th week, or the Tribulation period. However, Paul, writing to the church at Thessalonica gave us further details concerning its timing sequence.(II Thessalonians 2:1-7 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.) Paul refers to the ongoing “mystery of iniquity” that Satan is orchestrating as his counter strategy to God’s plan in the present world. Satan’s master plan of conspiracy is to plant his own man (Antichrist) on the throne in Zion, as opposed to God’s plan to see Jesus (the rightful heir) seated on His throne in Jerusalem.(This supernatural battle is the whole basis of today’s conflict in the Middle East)
