Thousands Stand in Line for Flu Shots in Benton County

Three mass flu clinics were held today in Benton County: One at the Rogers Activity Center, one at Riordon Hall in Bella Vista and one in Siloam Springs at Eastgate Church of Christ.

So when do they plan on giving us the H1N1 shot for us that have underlying medical conditions. Such as diabeties, heart, asthma conditions. The way it looks we will probally not get this injection, but however I know several people who were not high risk groups and they got the H1N1 shot. So somebody please explain this to me since I can't get the shot, because I'm tired of the excuses and the lies.

I hope to speak for all of us that are considered in the priority list by CDC and Arkansas Health Department, which says us that have chronic health problems such as diabetis, heart, asthma etc.., but according to Benton County, Ar. department of health says we are not a concerned priority and will be the last to be innoculated evently?
To me this means maybe or never, and they say if we do get sick then go get some Tamiflu if there is any in the state, or if your health care provider has any.
Next, the health department says they are going only to vaccinate pregante women and children up till December then the healthcare workers and then eventually us, if ever.
I think Arkansas has done a very poor job in making sure its citicezens who have chronic health problems stay healthy. The more I think about how it views us citizens the more angry I get. I can't afford to become ill or almost be severly ill, because who's going to pay my bills?

I am high risk and REFUSE to take the H1N1 ! It is dangerous! Geeesh people- wash your hands OFTEN everyday, Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze- use Lysol spray on your doorknobs and phones- Basically practice good hygene!!
Dr.s and healthcare providers have been told to NOT be vacinated with H1N1 because it is not safe- Get the regular flu shot and keep clean!!!

I don't know what high risk group you are and what age group. So how do you figure this shot is dangerous? If you have some proof in the pudding then why don't you share with the rest of us. Smoking cigarretes are dangerous, driving a car is dabgerous, but most people smoke and everyone drives.
Besides I never heard that Dr.s should not vaccinate with he shot, but if you don't want it and want to get very ill, which I pray you don't and that nobody gets this dangerous virus, well then this is your business. However, you are very highly most mistaken that the flushot will protect you, and by the way flu shots can be an could be dangerous too.
